A Rough Day With Cory 🌸

Y/n's POV
I just had the WORST day at work. Everyone was yelling at me, the boss was being a jerk. I just can with that place anymore. I just wanna go home and lay in bed for the rest of the day.

Cory's POV
I was watching TV and I heard a car pull up in the drive way. Y/n's back. I really miss her. Her smile, her laugh, her hugs, her kisses. Everything about her just makes my day. The door opens and I see Y/n at the door.
"Heyyy baby!" I say to her but she ignored me. It's not like her to do this. Normally she would come give me a kiss or at least respond to me with a "Hi baby." She closes the door and just walks past like she didn't see me and goes upstairs. Is she mad at me? Nahh, she can't be I didn't do anything to hurt her. Maybe she just had a bad day at work. I turned off the TV and head upstairs to check on her.

Y/n's POV
I had just got out of the car and was heading to the front door. I open it and I see Cory sitting on the couch watching TV.
"Heyyy baby!" Cory said. But I ignored him. Normally I don't but I just wanted to go upstairs and lay down. I closed the door and walked upstairs. I went to the bedroom, closed the door, and just collapsed on the bed. I was just tired. I heard the door back up. It was probably Cory.
"Hey baby. You okay?" Cory asked. I wanted to say I was fine but I knew that he wouldn't believe me.
"No. I had a rough day at work and I just wanna lay down." I said. Cory looked at me in shock. He knows that I'm not like this at all. He's knows that I always want his love and attention.
"You know I'm here for you right?" Cory asked. I nod as I start to cry a little. He was always there for me. He always made my day so much better.
"Then lemme make you feel better girl. Come with me." Cory said as he tries to pick me up. "Hey, what are you..." I tried to ask what he was doing but he picked me up and but me behind his back.
"Cory you don't have to do this." I said with a little giggle. "I know. But I want to. I wanna make you happy baby." Cory said. I smile and laugh a little bit. He smiles too, taking me downstairs to the couch.

Cory's POV
Y/n told me that she had a bad day and I wanted to make her day better. I wasn't gonna let her sit there and lay in bed feeling stressed. I picked her up and took her downstairs to the couch.
"Now you just sit here and wait for me okay? Imma make some food for you." I told her as I was walking to the kitchen. "Okay!" She said. I wanted to make her something to eat so I decided to make her favorite food. I put on some music and I could hear Y/n singing and dancing from the kitchen. After a few minutes of dancing and cooking in the kitchen, the food was finally finished. I put her food on a plate and poured some juice into a glass and started heading back to the couch.

Y/n's POV
Cory was making me food in the kitchen. He's so sweet. He didn't have to do any of this but he still does it anyway just to see me happy. That's one of the reasons why I love him so much. He always wants to see me happy and will do anything just to make me smile. As I was dancing to the music he put on, I see him bring a plate of food towards me with some juice.
"Here you go baby. I had to make some food for a very special person." Cory says with a smile. He made my favorite food. I'm literally screaming in my head but I tried to hide how excited I was.
"Awww baby. Thank you!" I said. We both went to sit on the couch and he wanted to put on a movie. But I had realized that he wasn't eating.
"Baby you gonna eat something?" I asked him a little worried. "Nah I'm good. I had some food before you came back from work." He responded. I nodded and started eating. The food was so good. He knows how to make it just the way I like it.
"Hey, Cory.." I said. "Yeah, what's up?" Cory asked. I smile at him and say "I just wanna say thank you, for everything." He smiled back and said "No problem! Anything to see you smile baby." I got close to him and cuddle him as he kissed my forehead.
"I love you." Cory said. I look at him and kissed him.
"I love you too baby." I said to him after we kissed. We then cuddled for the rest of the night.
