"Oh, fuck! Not this again. Damn it!"
Diana had been in the kitchen until now as she tried to get back to the Hufflepuff common room.
But by some evil force, that's what she told herself, she got the order of the barrels wrong because some sort of noise interrupted her.
So now, here she was. Almost midnight, clothes covered in vinegar. Fucking house defense thing. None of the other houses had it, why did she have to get sorted into the only one who did? With a memory like hers, it was bound to happen at least a couple times a year.
She was just about to make her way to the girls bathroom when she collided with someone so hard it made her fall on the ground.
She could see the golden pin of the prefects on the person's chest, making her groan as closed her eyes and ran her hands on her face.
"Can you please let this one time go and not give me detention? Today has already been shitty without one."
"Seems like it is. What happened to you? Why do you smell like vinegar?" She looked up at the familiar voice, her cheeks becoming red as she looked at the boy.
He offered her a hand up, which she gladly took before dropping it as soon as she was standing up.
"Sorry. Uh, I got the order of the barrels wrong. And now I'm covered in vinegar because of it. Merlin, I fucking hate this password thing." Ron only chuckled at her, making a small motion with his head so she would follow him.
"You can use the Prefects bathroom. And I can get you some of my clothes to wear, if you want?"
"Thank you. That would be lovely." She smiled at him as she followed close towards the fifth floor, standing in front of a big wooden door.
Ron said the password to it, the doors slowly opening. Diana got inside of it, looking around at the white marble covered bathroom.
"I'll be back in a while. I don't think anyone else will try to come here at this time. Also, there are some towels there." Diana followed where he was pointing with her eyes, giving a short nod of her head.
He closed the door on his way out as Diana continued to look around.
In the middle of the room was a large whole that looked more like a pool than a tub, with dozens of faucets around it.
She turned them on, and while she waited for it to fill up, she took her clothes off, letting it fall to the ground, and within a second, they were gone.
As she looked at the hole filling up quicker than she would have expected, she started thinking why he was doing that to her.
Of course he was just being friendly. He would've done that to anyone else, right?
