"did I give you permission to leave?" Jennie gulped as she shook her head. "Exactly. So why did you?" He growled. Jennie wiped the sweat off her hands with her shirt. "I..I went to look for a friend" Jungkook raised his eyebrows. "Is it a guy?"

Jennie started laughing. Why? Well she has always laughed whenever she felt nervous or embarrassed. Jungkook was starting to get pissed off. "So it is a guy huh?" Jungkook said, poking his tongue inside his cheek. "Your boyfriend?"
Jennie blushed. That thing he just did- why was it so attractive. "B-boyfriend? Jimin? HA never!" She laughed out loud by accident, suddenly forgetting who was in front of her.

Jennie took a deep breath in. Wow he was hot. Jennie just kept looking down, not knowing what to do or say until she heard her alarm. It was 8, she could finally go home. "Finally" She happily said and began to walk away, not giving a single fuck anymore. She could finally go home, eat, sleep, play with her cat, watch dramas, maybe even invite a friend-
"Where the fuck are you going?" Jungkook yelled, making Jennie jump. She turned around, now she had the annoyed face. "I don't have to work anymore, I can go home, that means another nurse will take care of you-" Jennie was cut off by her manger, Izzy.
"ah there you are! Sorry dear but some things changed so you will be staying the night" Jennie stared at her as if she was speaking a different language. Izzy looked over at Jungkook who was smirking, She slowly pulled Jennie out of the room.
"I'm so sorry, You work so hard but that patient just gave us five hundred thousand dollars, and in return..well-"
"-I have to stay with him" Jennie finished Izzy's sentence easily. She nodded. "I promise you'll have tomorrow off yeah? It's just we need the money for the-"
"-Children's ward, I know and it's okay. I can do it" Jennie smiled weakly, Izzy gave her a hug, "you can do it girl, fighting!" she held her fists up with a smile, "fighting" Jennie replied as well, but with less enthusiasm.
And with that, Izzy walked away. Jennie stood there, a pout on her lips. She would miss out on her k drama's...but she would be able to watch them all day tomorrow so its fine. She walked back inside the room and sat down, looking at the floor. She could feel Jungkook's eyes on her but she didn't feel like bickering with him.
She yawned, eyes getting droopy. "You. Take this and go get a coffee. You can't fall asleep while you work" Jungkook grumbled as he reached his hand out, trying to pass the bills to Jennie. Jennie looked at the money. Coffee did sound nice, but her feet hurt.
She shook her head. "My feet are hurting too much" Jungkook let out a fake laugh, "Does it look like I care? Now go" Jennie sighed. Just a few more hours, and this asshole will finally be asleep. She stood up, snatched the money and then started walking.
But she stopped.
"wait...no. I'm not doing this" She said sounding serious, before Jungkook could speak, she threw the money at him. "You don't tell me what to do. You can't make me. Wanna make me lose my job? go ahead, I can always get another one. Want me to stay longer? Well no, fuck you and your rudeness. Just because your literally a millionaire doesn't mean you can treat others like shit"
Jungkook just stared at her, eyes wide and mouth open, in shock. Nobody has ever spoken to him like that.
"Goodnight Mr. Jeon, I hope I never see you again" And with that, she walked out and left the young man alone, in disbelief. Again.

As Jennie walked home, the same words keep repeating themselves over and over again:
'I'm still alive'
She touched her body. No pain, no gunshot-
"I'M STILL ALIVE"
She skipped the rest of the way home, the pain in her feet suddenly disappearing. She was happy that she will never have to see him again.
