"Sorry I had some car troubles" he told the teacher. "You can't drive Styles" "At least legally" he rudely remarked and began walking towards my seat. His fingertips tapped on my desk and I looked up at him. His emerald eyes pierced into mine. "Sweetheart this is my seat". Around the room I could hear whispers and gasps. I picked up my bag but was stopped by Mrs.Hollands' voice "Grace you can stay there." "No that's okay." I got my bag and moved to an empty seat in the corner. "See you around Grace" I heard the curly haired boy say.

The day passed by quite quickly and after it was over I walked out and tried to see if I saw Niall. As I exited the building I saw the blonde boy surrounded by a group of people. They were laughing. Do I go say hi or no "Grace!" A familiar voice called my name. "Crap." I whispered to myself. Niall called me over. "Hey!" He said to me. "Hi." "Are you heading home?" "Uh yea just about." "Well since your new I figured you wouldn't have any friends..." "Hey!" I slightly punched his shoulder. "Alright so this Liam,Louis, and Zayn." They all said hi to me with wide smiles.

"I gotta start heading home, so see you tomorrow. Nice to meet you guys." I said as I smiled at the three boys. "Wait Grace want me to walk you home?" Niall asked. "If you want to, you don't have to." "No it's fine. A girl like you shouldn't be out alone." He started walking ahead of me. "Really? What's that supposed to mean?" I questioned eager to know. "C'mon Grace you are immensely beautiful and some boys around here like to take advantage." I could feel my cheeks start to blush but all I could let out was "Oh."

"Yea but don't worry I'll protect you." Niall said as he looked down at me smiling. His smile had to be the best one I had ever seen. "Thanks Niall." I looked down as we turned the curb on my street. We made it to my house and Niall gave me a quick hug. His arms letting go of my waist way faster than I wanted them to. "See you tomorrow Grace!" He smiled crinkling the corners of his bright blue eyes as he walked off. "Bye Niall." I waved, trying to contain my happiness.

I unlocked the brown door and took a step inside dropping my book bag on the floor next to the stairs. "Mom? I'm home." I made my way to the kitchen and saw the lilac colored paper from my moms notebook stuck to the fridge. Grace, your sister had a dentist appointment today. Last night left overs are in the fridge if you get hungry. -Mom

Ever since Casey was born mom never had time for me, although she claimed that she gave us equal attention. My converse climbed up the stairs into my room. I threw myself on the bed trying to think about all that happened today.
