It has been some time in beacon and everything has been good. Right now your in combat class as everyone watches you matches with interest except team CADL. you are soloing a team that didn't do much just stand there as you used a move you have been working on after watching some of Endeavors clips so you lifted you left hand drawing the crowds anticipation you compressed the flame within your hand and moved it in a punch.

Y/N: Jet Burn!

You launched the punch at them and they didn't react from either fear or to just end the match and the compressed fire landed into them sending them flying back out of bounds.

Goodwitch: congratulations Y/N that was a good match now Mr. Arc how about you come down here and you to Mr. Winchester

After she said that the two went down got there items and got to there respected sides and what happened was just pitiful. At one point Jaune actually is able to hold him back.

Cardin: this is the part where you lose

Jaune: over my dead body

Jaune is then kicked in the stomach back and as Cardin is about to bring his mace down.

Goodwitch: Mr. Winchester that's enough and Mr. Ark please refer to your scroll during the match so you can decide to move to a more defensive strategy we wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a Beowulf now would we

A bit latter you, team RWBY and team JNPR are in the cafeteria getting some food when you hear a yell.

Y/N: I'm going to help someone

You walk over to the table with team CADL.

In retaliation you freeze them in place then go to look after the girl.

After classes for the day you head back to your dorm and see Jaune sitting outside of his dorm looking sad.

Jaune: oh it's you Y/N what do you want

As you were talking both teams RWBY and the rest of JNPR were listening with there ears to the doors.

Endeavor was abusive to my mother who I know nothing about apart from the fact that she is in the custody of Atlas and the seconded I awoke my semblance he trained me till I passed out my brother was killed by the training with his own fire my sister was neglected by him until she killed my father then gave me this scare before disappearing when I was 12 and I have been hunting her ever since so tell me who had the better life 

Jaune: I'm sorry about that 

Y/N: it's alright you were angry and upset I just needed you to see a diffrent side of things so please let me help you

Jaune: ok I'm grateful that you were able to talk some sense into me before I did something drastic 

Y/N: no problem what are friends for I think I'm still new at this

You and Jaune then bro-hug it before going into your respected rooms and when you get in there you were hugged by the girls of team RWBY which confused you but you went with it not knowing that they heard everything that you said. You then go to sleep in which the girls waited for that to happen then they started talking.

Ruby: all in favor of making a Y/N protection squad say I

Weiss: well I suppose I

Blake: I 

Ruby: this is going to be good but Yang who do you think is stronger

Yang: hum that depends in close quarters I'm better but in mid - long he can control the battlefield and stay away whilst ice scatting

Weiss: so in range he would destroy you but in close quarters you would destroy him is that what your saying which makes sense since he hasn't learned any basic self-defenses

Blake: yeah he really relies on his semblance but then again didn't Endeavor relied on his semblance 

Weiss: yes but it was hot enough and he was skilled with it that he could kill grim with it but Y/N has two options since his ice is just as powerful as his father

Blake: good to know anyway good night girls

RWY: night
