A little girl, no older than 7, sat on a couch watching some TV. Then.

BANG

"AHHH!!!" The little girl screamed and ran to hide under the coffee table.

A large flash and bang came out of no where. A storm was happening. The little girl started crying. She usually wasn't scared of the storms, but this time she was alone in the house with no one to be with.

"Are you alright Zenyatta?" A voice said out of no where.

"Jarvi, I'm scared." The little girl known as Zenyatta whimpered.

The voice was one of her father's inventions. He kept the house in check. He is an AI named Jarvis.

"Don't worry Zenyatta. Your father will be home soon."

"But I want Daddy here now. Why isn't he here?!" Zenyatta was now sobbing.

She was terrified of being alone. She wanted her dad with her to hold her. But he was at his job in some meeting.

At the front of the house, a car screeched to a stop at the front door. A man got out and sped to the door and continued running inside. The man left before his meeting even ended when he heard the storm. He came straight home and was pretty sure he ran multiple lights.

"Zenyatta?" The man called out.

He was searching frantically and was about to call out again until he heard Jarvis.

"She's under the coffee table in the living room Sir."

The man spun around and ran to the coffee table. At first he couldn't see her, but then he saw her tiny feet poking out of the side. His heart broke when he heard her tiny sobs of fear. He bent down and softly touched her ankle.

"Zenyatta?"

The cries stopped. Zenyatta turned her body and poked her head out.

"Daddy?"

Her bright hazel eyes were filled with tears as she looked up at her father. She looked into those families dark brown eyes and spiked up hair and signature goatee of his. The little girl's father was none other than Tony Stark.

She sprung up and wrapped her tiny body around his. Desperately grasping the comfort of her father.

"Daddy! I was so scared of being alone during the storm! I didn't like being alone! Please don't leave me alone again! Please Daddy!"

Tony's heart broke at his daughter's pleas. She was in so much emotional pain and he wasn't there to stop it. But now he is.

"My little heart. I would never leave you alone."

"But you did. And I didn't like it!"

Tony sighed and pulled away from his little girl. He picked her up and sat down on the couch with Zenyatta in his lap. He looked into her eyes.

"Zenyatta. I know I went to the meeting and had you stay in the house. But I would never leave you alone."

Zenyatta sniffed. "What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that no matter what, I'm always gonna be with you." He smiled. "This is a promise to you my little heart. I will never leave you alone. I Will always be there. Even when you can't see me. I'll always be right there beside you."

Zenyatta smiled at her dad. Tears of happiness flowed down her cheeks. Tony wiped them away and pulled her into a hug.

"I love you Daddy."

"I love you too baby. So much."

After a few minutes they pulled away from each other.

"Now," Tony smiled. "Let's get some cream."

"Yay! Can I have chocolate chip please?"

Tony always loved her energy. He smiled down at her.

"Anything you want. Race you to the kitchen!"

"Last one there is a rotten egg!"

Father and daughter raced to the kitchen. Of course Tony let her win.

Tony loves his daughter unconditionally and would do anything for her. He would always be there for her.

He never realized that in a few years, that promise would be tested.
