we lost the summer

ch. 1

"i'm so bored" a brunette headed boy groaned, "there's nothing and i mean NOTHING to do" he was sick and tired of just watching tv, going on his phone and eating durring this whole stupid quarantine thing. it was summer and usually he'd be at the pool or doing something fun with his other friends yeonjun, hueningkai and soobin. soobin was terrified of the virus and never wanted to go out. he thought it was too risky. yeonjun didn't really mind staying in much and huening kai would often be with soobin or yeonjun . his friend taehyun just sat down next to him with a soda in his hand. taehyun liked spending time with beomgyu and beomgyu liked spending time with taehyun. they were often seen with each other. never apart. taehyun was always at beomgyus house.

beomgyu quit complaining" he shot at him, "maybe if you didn't whine all the time we could find something to do." he ran his fingers through his blonde hair and took a sip of soda. beomgyu frowned and turned on the tv. "oh it's just the news channel, nothing good is ever there" beomgyu said clearly annoyed. he just wanted to watch something fun like spongebob or a random child show. anything really would be amusing to him right now. as he was about to change the channel taehyun stopped him. "wait listen to the story" he said. his eyes were glued to the screen. beomgyu decided to try and tune in. he caught some stuff about a ride at 74 street and broken or something, he wasn't really paying much attention. taehyun whipped around to beomgyu again. 'hey what if we go there?" he excitedly asked. "huh?.." was all beomgyu could respond he had no idea what the blonde boy was talking about. taehyun rolled his eyes "were you not listening to the news story you idiot?" "no not really it's boring tae." beomgyu replied sheepishly. "look, theres a run down amusement park just on 74th street. thats not even far.., maybe we can explore it."

that caught beomgyus attention. he was craving something fun to do and he was down to explore that abandoned thing.
