sebastian's pov

i've been walking for 16 minutes right now, trying to find someone alive that could explain me what was going on.

sally and virginia were chatting about their backgrounds while i was right behind them, too shy to talk to girls.

well, with sally i was good. i knew her since childhood.

she transferred right next to my house and we became besties.

she was the opposite of me; she was extroverted and wasn't scared of what she had to say unlike me. i was a shy lil bean. that was sally's nickname for me.

virginia, on the other hand, was a stranger.

we gained consciousness in the middle of the forest and, like me and sally, virginia got no clue about this place.

i couldn't believe it myself that we found ourselves in this kind of fantasy place. in fact it was a forest covered by red-wood trees that had this big light blue coloured leaves. the ground was cold and sandy that had violet pigment.

yeah, it was strange.

"oh, and what happened next?" virginia asked.

my gaze now was settled on those two short girls.

i could feel sally smirking even from the back.

"well, let's say that i'm not a girl that would give the silent treatment." sally stated. "i prefer using violence when it comes to assh*les like him."

and then she started describing to the red haired girl of an inconvenient event that happened in the past between her and the bully that used to bully me.

yes, sally was my guardian while i was the loser of the school that couldn't even ask for a pen because i was too scared.

i sighed at this unforgettable memory and i pulled away my gaze from them.

i continued to look around, hoping for some useful source, even water could be helpful right now because i could feel my throat going crazy.

while i was drooling for just a thought of the water (lmao), i saw something shining not too far from where i was standing.

it was like...water.

i started walking to my actual goal.

"hey lil bean, where are you going?" i heard sally's voice right behind me.

"i saw something." i responded happily, not even giving her a single look.

then i stopped, my eyes were examining what it were seeing; it was a lake, strange one.
