Christmas eve, 1795. Margarita Van Rensselaer sat in her bedroom, whilst her husband waited outside with their six year old son.

An hour or two later, the cries of a baby were heard followed by the doctor yelling "It's a girl!" Stephen quickly ran inside the room. "What should we name her?" He asked. "Charlotte." Peggy answered quickly. "I just think it's a nice name, you know?"

"I love it."

-three week time skip-

Peggy walked by her daughter's cradle and gently picked her up. "Hello Cherry." She said. Peggy laughed after she that and then thought for a minute. "Well...Cherry could always be your nickname."

From then on, the little girl was known as Cherry Van Rensselaer.
