America High, huh? Looks pretty small. I thought as I walked through the gates leading to the school grounds. After all the hype of making a new brother school for Great Britain Academy, this is what I get? I threw my wavy hair into a perfectly messy bun and took out my compact mirror to check my iconic Alt Girl makeup. I sighed as I stared into the blank reflection I and thought to myself, this is good Y/N, it's a new start for us.
"Y/N! You're Y/N, the new student, right?"
"Yes," I stated, quickly shutting my compact mirror, and shoving it back into my purse. "And ... uh, sorry but, who are you?"
The short little blond boy put his hand to his head in embarrassment, "O M G girl I am so sorry I forgot to introduce myself, see I'm Christian. I'm the one giving you the tour of the school come on miss girl we got things to see," he said, snapping his fingers in a Z shape. He gestures towards himself and the school and we begin our tour.
The silence was deafening, but I didn't know what to say to hold a conversation with the little dude, I decided to try and just ask him about his personal life, just to get to know him. "So, Christian, do you have a girlfriend?"
Christian looked at me quizzically before telling me no, I pondered for a moment and then realized, oh. "So, do you have a boyfriend then?" I asked, sure that I got it right this time.
He waved his hand in dismissal "Oh no honey I hate the g- gays" he makes a gagging noise as he says the word, "can't stand them!"
Weird.

The tour ended with Christian leading me to my dorm room, I thanked him for the tour and quickly collapsed on the bed, that was exhausting. He kept asking me if I wanted to join him in following in the light of Christ.
I heard a nasty little British accent in the room next to mine, ew why is there a British person here, I put my ear up against the wall to see what was happening.
A muffled voice spoke from behind the wall, "It's the enlightenment innit luv, haven't you heard? The enlightenment makes you bloody smart! I already heard that a bloke named John Locked at your school is claiming that we should believe in science instead of God, bonkers luv innit?"
I smiled to myself, Christian's going to love this.

Christian flopped down dejectedly in the seat next to me. It "took all my strength to not cackle at him as I looked over and saw John Locke, standing on a table and preaching the benefits of science instead of God.
"Y/N!" he whined in that stupid little shrill voice, "I have to do something about this, the students at America High need to know the word of God is good!"
"Yeah sure little dude, you do that"
"I think I have someone who could help with that"
"Oh?" I said, slightly more interested than before in the mini Ben Shapiro if he were blonde and gay.
"Oh yes boo, I have a friend, Jonathan Edwards, I think he can help us. He has a way with words" He declares as he fumbles with his hands.
"Who's Jonathan?"
Christian turns his head to where I can't see his face and mumbles, "Oh uh, Johnny, he's my ... good friend"
I knew it
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Moments later, Jonathan arrived at our table after Christian called him over.
Jonathan smiled, "What's up bab- I mean, Christian?"
"Hey Johnny, you know how that John Locke dude keeps making people stray from God, well, I need your help to stop that"
"What do you want me to do?" He said, looking deeply into Christian's blue eyes.
"I want you to scare them, bring them back", Christian put his hand on top of Jonathan's.
Johnathan looked shocked, he stuttered, "I'll do it, anything for you Christian" he walked away to begin his sermon.
What just happened?
While Jonathan was busy terrifying poor high schoolers into thinking they were going to hell for not believing in Christ, Christian explained to me that Jonny his, "friend," was a preacher who was very strict in his beliefs. His devotion to God is what drew Christian towards him. He also told me that both of them thought that America High should stay under the rule of Great Britain Academy, even though the majority of students here want to separate from GBA. Since the students at this school aren't very united, they couldn't separate from GBA anyway, he had a point but still...
God, I need to get out of here
