However, should there be an abrupt change in leadership, how will the new leader-a simple man from Missouri-lead a heartbroken nation through its bloodiest and most destructive conflict; how will he bring a satisfying conclusion to a great calamity? And how will he help the nation heal its wounds from the trauma of the past 2 decades and move on into a new era of world history? This is a story about a simple man who, by luck, gets forced onto the position as the leader of the free world. This is a story about the Accidental President-Harry S. Truman.

Every day has been the same for him, cleaning the ship's decks and attending to dirty messes, except for one brutal day which started the Morning of December 7th, 1941.
