Y/N WAS IN THE LIVING ROOM
watching videos on her laptop about various subjects, from minecraft, to phasmophobia to among us.It was around 6 PM for her and she was getting bored of the videos and wanted to do something different and more fun.
She pushed herself off the couch from her position on her stomach and slipped her phone in her pocket. She stood quiet for a second, thinking of things she could do to cure her boredom.
Then her lips curled up into a smile as she made her way upstairs and to the office. She pressed her ear to the door to listen for Eret's talking so she wouldn't interrupt on of his streams, then once she didn't hear anything, she twisted the doorknob.
Then the unexpected (but expected) happened: the power went out.
"Y/n?" he quickly turned around to face her and stood up, walking her direction.
"The power went out right as I came up here to bother you" she sighed. He chuckled at her comment and stepped out of the office, closing the door behind him.
He began to move downstairs, and Y/n followed right behind him. "So, is it the weather?" he asked. She hummed in response.
"Is it out in the whole neighbourhood?" She shrugged. "I'm not sure" She moved around him to the light coming from the windows and looked out the window. "Yup"
Eret frowned. "What are we supposed to do now?" He sat on the couch and took his phone out his pocket, but it was nearly dead.
"We don't need social media to have fun" she smiled as she leaned against the side of the couch, her legs crossed over one another.
He looked up at her confused. Y/n giggled and ran upstairs to their room and found her little treasure, bringing it back downstairs with her.
She sat down on the floor with her knees tucked underneath her and sat the bag down. She waved for him to come sit next to her and he did.
She pulled out a smooth, laminated piece of paper with different sized lines on it and took her phone out her pocket, opening an app.
"What are you doing, Y/n?" he asked examining the slips of paper in the plastic bag. When she didn't respond, he peeked over her shoulder to see her scanning the 'code' on her phone. Immediately after, music started playing from the phone.
She slid the bag and her phone away and stood up, grabbing his hands to pull him up as well and started dancing. Eret was confused at first, but quickly caught on as he recognized the song playing from her phone, and danced with her.
They repeated the process of scanning codes and dancing until they were worn out and tired, and they couldn't dance anymore, completely forgetting about everything else and just focusing on the music and eachother.
