Ella's pov,
Deep breaths......there's no need to be nervous.You're probably just having one of those crazy weird dream you have all the time!' , I told myself to calm my nerves. But it wasn't really helping. You see you don't get to be the owner of best opera house in all of france everyday. It had to be a dream.
A few hours ago...
"Alright ,good bye! Have fun at grandma's. I won't bring down the whole house." , I said waving at my parents
"Bye,honey we'll be back before Monday", my mother said and closed the car door loudly."This is the safest neighborhood you could possibly ask for. Don't worry, we'll be back in no time",my father yelled through the window. "
From across the street our neighbor Mrs. Eleanor hollered, "Hello dear You can come by any time you like and I did go in the afternoon.
"Ah you children these days are no fun! What times it were back in those glamorous days.",Mrs. Eleanor chatted on enthusiastically as she poured tea into my cup.
Mrs. Eleanor's house was no less than a museum . I've been here a few times.It was always filled with props from different sets of plays she acted in , she liked to call them her Suvinere's .
There was always some new stuff lying around. But today something caught my eyes . I hadn't noticed maybe it wasn't there before. How couldn't I! It was so beautiful!
I pointed towards the antic floor length mirror standing in the corner of the parlour and asked,"Hey mrs Eleanor where did you get that mirror?" Trying to sound casual," I Didn't see it before" . She moved her gaze to where I was pointing and said "Oh! That? that's an old family heirloom .It belonged to my great grandmother .Did I ever tell you she was an actress too? I followed her footsteps......", and than she told the story of her glorious theater days for the millionth time.
While mrs. Eleanor went on with her story I felt strangely drawn to the mirror. Like it was calling me..... I had to go to it. Touch it.....
And I did and slipped into a daze
