"𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐄" - 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙮 𝙁𝙖𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙘

A ruined birthday

Normal POV:
It was a beautiful morning in mobius, every mobian walking around, chatting, laughing, and doing whatever. Although, A certain pink hedgehog was still in bed, snoring peacefully. The alarm clock buzzed loudly, causing her to jolt awake.

Amy POV:
I immediately sat up and turned my head to see that my alarm clock had gone off. " ugh... " I groaned in annoyance, slapping my hand on the snooze button to turn it off. Yawning, I slowly stepped out of bed and walked over to my dresser to sit down on the soft chair and fix my hair. Once I finished, I looked in the mirror and smiled a big smile. I then stand up and walk out of the bedroom, into the bathroom so I could brush my teeth. After, I leave the restroom and make my way downstairs into the kitchen to cook some waffles and sausages. A while later, the food was made, so I pick up my fork and begin to eat. I had got a message from rouge, saying that she needed me to come over to cream's place, so I do my best to eat quickly and I run back upstairs to put on my everyday red dress and boots. Not to forget, my headband to top it off! sprinting down the stairs once again, I take one more bite of my blueberry waffle before heading out the door to cream's house. By the time I made it, walking over to the front door and twisting the doorknob, all gone to waste. The door had been unlocked already, which is kind of weird in my opinion. But I shrug it off, going inside. " huh? did the power go out?? " I ask myself. I move my free hand around on the wall, finally finding the light switch and switching it on. I jumped at the lights immediately turning back on..and I got scared again by everyone jumping out of their hiding spots just to say " HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY!!! " I was in awe. " Aww, thank you guys! It means so much to me! " running over to them, I give each and every one of them a big, tight hug. " EEP ! TOO TIGHT ! " Tails had said. " oops, sorry about that.. " I apologize, letting go of him. While I was glad most of my friends were here to congratulate me, I realized that sonic wasn't here...normally he's always on time. " uhm...have you guys seen sonic? " Knuckles had gone silent once the question was asked. Tails was the same. " well uh..you see, he just- " Knuckles immediately cut him off. " He's out with the princess! " this made tails facepalm himself. " out with the princess?! but I thought he was coming here! He always comes to every birthday!! " I shouted, before looking at the floor. " that's kinda what we thought too...but, he'll probably come later! So don't worry. " Tails said, trying to cheer me up. " thanks tails, I just hope you're right.. " I took a deep breath and sat down on the couch behind me. Cream walked over to the same area, looking at me confused. " miss amy, is everything okay?? " she asked, caringly. " yeah, everything's alright cream. I'm just worried...like, what if sonic doesn't come by? What if he forgot about my birthday? " " don't be silly, miss amy! maybe mister sonic is out with miss sally to get you a gift! " She said in a happy tone. " I guess so. " I said. Cream gave me a hug, as I hugged her back smiling. Once she let go, she handed over a slice of strawberry cake to me. " thanks, cream! " I said, giving her a sisterly peck on the cheek, resulting in her giggling. " you're welcome miss amy! " she skipped away. After I took a few bites of my cake, I got up and walked outside to take a breather. Seeing a bright glow, I decide to head over to where it was coming from. When I make it, I pick up the small gem that was shining, only to look up and see a faint image of what looked like sonic and someone else. Tilting my head slightly in confusion, I walk a little closer to the area, as my heart dropped. It was sonic and sally....kissing..I clutched my fists tight, while shutting my eyes closed as hot tears began to stream down my muzzle. " Sonic...how...how could you do this to me...? " I tried my best to stay as quiet as possible, yet accidentally, a small whimper escaped from my mouth. This resulted in sonic turning around  " did you hear that, sal? " he asked sally. She shook her head in denial. I couldn't bare to watch anymore of the scene, so I ran off with the gem still in my hand. Once I made it back, a worried cream ran up to me. " Oh, miss amy! where were you? you scared me! " she said, almost in tears. " I....was on a walk. " I replied, trying not to show the sadness in my tone. Cream hugged onto my waist tight, not letting go. I patted her head softly, weakly smiling.
