The fog had really seeped in making the looming mansion seem like something out of a horror story. The graves around me seemed to taunt me and threaten to make me trip. I couldn't risk that happening. I take a cautious step over one of the older gravestones.

"I know you're out there!" The booming voice growled from somewhere near the graveyard's entrance. I wished my nana would have told me about the graveyard before I moved here. Grumbling to myself, I make my way to the further end of the graveyard. I slip behind a towering weeping willow. I should be safe for a little bit, right?

Different POV

My lungs wracked against me, my breath shallow. I couldn't do it, there's no way. I side-glance at the boss, he returns a threatening glare.

"What are you waiting for?" He growls, "The longer you wait the less time you have."

My heart throbs against my chest as I stare back down. He's right, if I don't hurry...everything will be lost. My breath trembled as it came out. I raise my hands, gun contained within them. I place my finger on the trigger. My aim was steady, although my heart was not. With another trembling breath I pulled the trigger.

"I'm sorry." I mutter beneath my breath.

Bang.
