Dead By Daylight ~ Everybody Screams For Halloween!

Chapter 2

Laurie sighs, and opens her door.
Dwight enters with pizza, along with Meg, David, Nea, and Steve.
Nea slumps down on the couch, propping her feet up on the coffee table.
While Dwight, David, and Steve dig into the pizza.
Meg sits down on the couch beside Nea, and Laurie removes Nea's feet from the coffee table before joining them on the couch.
Laurie asks if any of them were playing a prank on her just now, telling them about the multiple calls she had received, and the knocks on the door, just before they arrived. They all denied being involved.
Laurie could hardly sleep that night, after the others left. She had a thought of who the person on the phone was referring to, but it was impossible.. he's been gone for years.. Laurie had assumed that he had died from his injuries. He did, right?
Was this all a prank?
Laurie tried to leave all that in the past..
She was hoping she'd escaped Michael, since so many years had passed.
She was in her final year of college, and has been treated like an actual person since attending here, rather than some victim to feel sorry for.
Who knew about her past?

The next morning at the campus, Claudette sat under her usual tree, and began reading.
Jake sneaks up to Claudette, and scares her, he laughs, and points out that it is the month of Halloween afterall.
He sits down next to her. They chat a little about each others family, and the book Claudette was always reading.
They notice Cheryl sneaking into the school again. There had to be more going on with her than just trying to avoid Dwight.

Cheryl, scratches her wrist as she hurriedly makes her way down a hallway of the school. She arrives at the nurses office, she looks around, paranoid, and biting her nail, before quickly entering the room.
Cheryl is greeted by Lisa, the nurse on campus. Cheryl tosses Lisa some wadded up cash onto her desk. Lisa opens a drawer to her desk, sliding the cash into it, and passing Cheryl a plastic bag which contained a few pills of some kind.
Cheryl stuffs the plastic bag into her backpack, and hurries to the door, checking the hall, before leaving.

Students begin making their way to class.
Nea sits amongst her peers in Professor Jeff Johanson's class, painting something dark and sinister looking.
Laurie can't help but feel bothered when looking at it, due to what happened last night.
The Professor himself is painting away, with headphones on, listening to rock music of some kind.
In the back of the room Dwight questions Cheryl about her whereabouts before school, and asks if she's avoiding him for some reason. Which she denies.
Cheryl scratches her wrist during their discussion. Claudette picks up on it.
Kate paints a flowery meadow.
Hiding his art from Kate, Fleix sketches her, managing to capture her radiant beauty.
Felix looks at her, with love in his eyes.
"You're absolutely stunning.." he tells her.
She smiles at him, blushing.

That evening, Yui and Rin stop to get some ice cream after watching a movie together.
They take a seat at one of the benches at the ice cream parlor.
They chat a little, and share some laughs while enjoying their ice cream.
Once they toss their leftovers in the trash, they begin their walk home.
Rin opens up, and tells Yui about how strange her father has been acting lately, and how worried she is for him.
Yui listens to her, not really sure how to respond, wanting to, but not sure what to say. Once they arrive at Rin's house, Rin tells Yui how wonderful their time together was. Yui tells her how much she enjoyed their time together as well.
They stand there, in the moonlight, holding one anothers hands, not wanting to let go.
Rin blushes. Yui kisses her.
Both of them blushing afterwards.
They both wish that blissful moment they shared could have gone on forever, but unfortunately it was getting late, so they exchanged goodnights, and Rin turned from Yui, beginning to walk up to her door.
Yui, swiftly grabs Rin by the hand and pulls her in for a passionate kiss.
After their lips separated, they looked into each others eyes, feeling as though their hearts were about to leap from their chests.
With a huge smile upon their faces, they exchanged farewells, and Yui began her walk home, after Rin went inside her house.

Rin's father watches Yui walk away from the upper floor window of the house.
He swiftly shuts the curtains.

Laurie grabs a towel, wrapping it around herself after a hot shower.
She takes another towel and begins drying her hair.
Laurie's phone receives a text message.
Laurie tosses the towel she was using to dry her hair aside, and picks up her phone.
Meg had texted her.
Laurie quickly responds to Meg, and sets her phone back down.
Laurie leaves the bathroom, and walks across the hall to her room, and grabs her pajamas. Before she could begin to put them on, her phone rings.
She drops her pajamas onto her bed, and walks back across the hall to the bathroom, picking up her phone.
Unknown Caller.
Laurie pauses for a moment, letting it ring.
She doesnt answer.
She brings her phone with her to her bedroom, setting it down on her bed.
She then begins to put on her pajamas.
Afterwards, her phone rings again.
She looks at her phone, laying on her bed.
She just stares at her phone.
Snapping out of it, she picks up her phone.
Unknown Caller.
She accepts the call.
"W-who is this?" She asks, hesitantly.
The caller responds with " Hi, Laurie."
Laurie then demands who is calling.
"How was your shower?" They asked.
Laurie's eyes widen. "Wh-what?" She asks.
"You and I have a mutual friend, and he'd like to reconnect with you." they tell her.
Laurie doesn't respond, she's in shock.
...
"He missed you."
...
"He wanted me to let you know that he'll be paying you a visit really soon."
...
Laurie hangs up.
She let's her phone slip from her hands, and she stumbles back into a wall, sliding down, now sitting on the floor, knees to her chest. She tries to catch her breath.
Having flashbacks.
A sound from downstairs brings Laurie back to reality.
Her eyes dart to her phone, she scrambles to get it, and then hides in her closet.
She dials 9-1-1.
She whispers to the operator, claiming that someone was in her house, and that she needed help. She gives the operator her address, and then holds the phone to her chest. Holding her breath, she tries to listen for anything outside her closet doors.
It's quiet, she hears nothing.
Laurie remains silent.
Moments pass.
She hears a knock on her front door.
She then goes to open the closet door to step out.. only to come face to face with the white mask that had haunted her dreams.
