LEXIE GREY HAD A PLAN. From the beginning she had a plan. She would graduate from Harvard Medical school, she'd complete a residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, and her life would go on from there. She had a plan. A plan to have her life work out exactly the way she wanted.
But then she found out she had a secret half sister in Seattle, who just so happened to be a surgeon at Seattle Grace Hospital. So she moved there in search of the sister who, as it turned out, wanted nothing to do with her. And neither did her father after her mother died of the hiccups. And neither did George right before he got hit by a bus. And neither did Mark, who she thought to be was the love of her life, when his long lost daughter showed up at his door step carrying his grand child. And neither did life, apparently, when her plane crashed in the middle of nowhere.
Soon she realized there was nothing else tethering her to Seattle anymore. So she threw her plan out, for the second time, and made the decision to move back to the east coast. This time she would settle in the south, Washington D.C. to be exact. She'd finish her residency and complete a neurosurgery fellowship there and let life take her on whatever path it chose.
And it just so happened that on that path she stumbled across a genius fbi agent who shared her photographic memory. So maybe with him, things would be different. Maybe this time, someone would want her.
