Burning Desires

An Intoxicating meeting and a Heated lesson.

~Outside the school building~ ~3rd person pov~

Arsene slung her bag over onto her back as she watched the various students around her, they were all delved in their own little worlds and it fascinated her. Friends that were separated over the summer holidays were now reunited and exchanged pleasant affections and familiarities in the form of hugs, smiles and laughter. Lovers were kissing under the shady trees and behind corners in an attempt the stay hidden from prying eyes. Others were parading around and making themselves look like fools and idiots for the whole world to see just for the heck of it, laughter ensuing as a teacher called them out and began making chase as they fled into crowds causing chaos and laughter where they went. Arsene even had to hold back a laugh behind her hand when one of the boys somehow managed to trip and drop their trousers revealing the embarrassing Pikachu faces on their boxers for the world around them to see. It was truly just another day in Cherryton for the students, but for Arsene, it was the start of something new and exciting. Arsene couldn't help but smile as she looked around at the various races ranging from human to supernatural. To the untrained eye, everyone looked like regular boys and girls but Arsene knew better than to assume this was true.

But the atmosphere around her changed as the students noticed the approaching trio: Aiden, Esmerelda and finally in the centre Julliette. Guys and girls alike ran their eyes over the three's bodies but Juliette's most of all. Seeing all the eyes on her made her uncomfortable and shy, although she didn't let it show on her face...she couldn't, she had to be perfect.

Arsene was surrounded by classmates in front of the doors who were all exchanging smiles and stories of their summer vacations. The young woman was so engaged in conversation that she didn't realise she and her group were crowding the entrance and pathway.

Julliette inwardly groaned as she saw the group but she wasn't annoyed just shy to talk to others. When she finally spoke it came out in a tone lower than the usual one she reserved for her friends. Her tone was alluring, commanding and slightly husky from her nerves but it made people swoon as this was what she usually sounded like around others. "Excuse me? Can we please get through?"

Arsene tensed up as she heard a voice behind her and her ear twitched as she heard a quiet. "Guys, make way." This mysterious voice had caught her attention and she quickly turned around only to see she was met with the tallest, buffest and somehow most attractive woman she had ever laid her eyes on. 

Bright but piercing bluebell eyes took her breath away as she looked into them. Soft deep brown, almost black fluffy hair surrounded them which seemed to shine in the morning sun. The hybrid dragon felt her body flush with warmth underneath the strangers cool, steely gaze. This young woman was significantly taller than her by around a head and a half and the hybrid had never felt so small in her life. In an attempt to keep her dignity and be cool she replied with a steady voice. "I'm sorry, we didn't mean to inconvenience you." She motioned to the others in her group to step to the side and allow this mystery girl's trio to move past.

Aiden flashed a smile and Esmeralda gave a less enthusiastic one as they walked past and inside the building but Juliette back to study this new girl that she didn't recognise the scent of. Her eyes slowly travelled down Arsene's figure as she studied her carefully, after all, she was the one who gestured the others to move for her. Julliette's nose twitched as she smelt the air taking in the woman's scent that made her head spin. Blinking a few times to shake off this dizziness she stepped away slightly, respectfully bowing her head in acknowledgement and thanks before walking in after her friends. Not a single word was spoken by either of them during the exchange but everyone who had seen it crowded Arsene to inform her of how lucky she was to even be looked at for so long and why. 

"Wow, Arsene did you see the way she sniffed you?!" The girl squealed and took the taller girl by the hand and gently squeezed it, genuinely confusing her about why the girl was so enthusiastic. Thankfully one of the calmer girls in the swarm noticed the hybrids confusion and smiled as she explained.  "Oh, you don't know? That was Julliette Zionesk and her two closest friends, she's the most popular girl here on campus. She's a famous model that's got famous parents too, she's rich as hell and she's a heartthrob in Cherryton as she doesn't let just anyone close... basically, everyone has hit on her or flirted but she's not let anyone in. And you Arsene have caught her attention and has just been recognised." The girl smiled smugly and waggled her eyebrows at the hybrid suggestively. Arsene couldn't help but blush from embarrassment and replied with, as calm as she could manage. "She just smelled me, that's not exactly a big deal you know."
