as soon as i passed the paper to the school committee, ciara wasted no time and immediately went home. rocky followed suit. vivi told me she has a part-time job she needs to attend to and so she went home earlier than us.

hyungwon and i were the only ones left together.
"let's go home together." i didn't reply to his statement immediately. i was weighing whether he was asking or if he was just stating it.

in the end, i just nodded and we both walked towards the lockers where our shoes are placed. backs facing each other, i started wearing my leather shoes and placed my indoor shoes back inside the locker. when i looked back at hyungwon, he was already waiting for me and so we walked out of the school building.

on our way home, i asked him where he lived and he answered it wasn't far from where i live and that we'll be walking almost the same road together, only that i'll be taking a left at the end and he'll keep walking straight before turning right to the street where his house is.

that was the end of our conversation.
i didn't want to keep asking him random questions because i fear he might see me as an annoying girl.
hyungwon seems to like quiet surroundings and based on how i see his aura right now, it seems like he doesn't want to talk that much. i remained silent as we were walking. one, i'm nervous walking alone beside him because my emotions are always getting messed up and two, because i feel like he doesn't want to talk right now and i respect his personal space.

we walked all the way to where we're about to split up and we never uttered anything.
he was the first one to stop walking.
"well, i'll be walking straight ahead."

i smiled at him.
"okay."

i was surprised when he waved goodbye at me but i raised my hand and waved too. when i turned my back and started walking, that was when i felt like my heart was about to explode any moment from now.

hyungwon waved goodbye.
he looks so handsome!

i tried my best to compose myself but ended up looking like an idiot. my heart's pounding so loudly inside my chest. the way hyungwon smiled and waved at me just left a permanent impression on me.

i swear hyungwon will be the death of me.
