Chenle throws away the paper bag mark gave him for breakfast, finishing up the last bite as he enters the gates of hell.
His high school.
He looks around trying to find any of the people he hung out with yesterday as he wiped his hands on his shirt getting rid of any excess crumbs off his hands and mouth.
he walks around the same rout that the very nice- handsome boy named jaemin showed him. all he really remembered were the stairs infront of the big red doors. so that's what he looked for. but before he could go to the people he was looking for they rather found him.
"oh, chenle!" he heard from his right as his hands were on the metal door. there he saw jaemin waving his hand and then waving it towards him gesturing chenle to go to them. as chenle does he notices the boy named jisung and blushes at the fact that mark said they were soulmates.
'were soulmates?!' he squeals internally and throws a smile at the emo looking boy. But he didn't see it, he's always looking at the floor whilst his long black hair covers his eyes.
'its not gonna happen' he hears marks voice which brought him back to reality. He moves his attention twords jaemin again who was already staring at him.
"You weren't listening huh?" Jaemin crosses his arms.
"I- i- i- n-no" the younger studders and lowers his eyes.
Jaemin scooches over to chenle as his lips hover his ear and whispers.
"You like him, right" taken back chenle quickly moves away from jaemin and covers his ears.
"N-no I don't!" he shouts and shakes his head.
"Shhh!!" Jaemin laughed as he pats chenle's lap and points at the two boys named jeno and donghyuck.
He smiles before speaking. "You see them, jeno was like you, that's how I can tell". Chenle looked over at the couple fighting over a single juice box.
"And that dumb psychopath over there" jaemin points at donghyuck.
Chenle looked over again to see the sun kissed man slapping the juice box out of jeno's hands after winning the battle.
"He didn't want a relationship. He wanting to focus on his studies, he's now failing most if not all of his classes". Jaemin looks at the couple in awe smiling and laughing at their stupidity.
"And how does that have to do with jisung and I?" Chenle asked.
"Oh! I forgot, well that's how I see you guys. Jisung really never had a decent relationship so about 6 months ago he gave up on trying to find love, and he promised to himself that he'll never get heart broken again". Jaemin frowns while looking at jisung.
"W-well I think he should still be looking. Everyone is deserving of love and shouldn't give up! A-and you never know if life has something in store for you later on, you know" chenle blushes.
Jaemin laughs at chenle's cuteness and looks at him in the eye.
"Jisung would like you" he nods "yup!" He claps. "You should go talk to him! He'd probably ignore you but it's worth a shot- woah.." jaemin presses his lips together and curves the corners to see chenle already next to jisung.
Chenle nervously sits down next to jisung as he watches him play a game on his phone.
Chenle squints his eyes as the senary of the game looks very familiar.
"Oh you play that game too!" He says excitingly and his loud voice makes jisung jump.
"Uhhh, yeah" he says awkwardly avoiding any eye contact.
Chenle gasps which makes jisung jump again.
"Your barely on level 43!?" His mouth hangs open in shock.
"Well this level is kinda hard" jisung says and looks away as he's embarassed.
"Tch, please. I'm on level three- hundred and three, there's nothing hard about this game" he says as he grabs jisungs phone and plays the level for him.
"How is he not dead!" Donghyuck whisper-screams as jaemin dragged everyone to hide behind a bush.
"Hush! They're gonna hear you!" Jaemin slaps his knees.
"I can't believe he took his phone so easily"
"AGH" the group of boys screamed and look towards their left.
"Renjun when did you get here!" Jaemin yells.
"They're gonna hear you" donghyuck mimics jaemin.
"I came here like 15 seconds ago, when you said "hush they're gonna hear you"" renjun mimics him.
Renjun stands up and opens a bag of chips. "By the way you all look like idiot's" he says and turns around.
"Can I have one!" Jeno shouts.
"Fuck off" renjun says as he shoves a handful of chips into his mouth.
