CHAPTER 4

Rose's POV

We arrived at the back of the venue, I slowly turn to him only to find out that he's also staring at me we just stared at each other's eyes for a few more minutes then we started leaning towards each other and eventually ended up kissing each other we pulled away resting our foreheads together

"We need to stop this, I still have a press conference and I don't want to be late or else I will be the center of attention once again" I said to him chuckling

"Wouldn't you be in a center of attention after this? But you should definitely go" He said to me and kiss my forehead before letting me go. I unfastened my seat belt, fixed myself before getting out of the car glancing at him before entering the building, and went straight to my waiting room only to see that they're already preparing for the things that they will need to fix me before the press conference starts.

"You're here already, go sit they will fix you already" Jennie said coming to me

"How was your meeting?" I asked her, she crouched closer to me and whispered

"They said that they will give me a raise if I spy and sabotage you" She said

"And what did you answer?" I asked her

"I said yes but they said that they will give me a raise if I spy on you but here I am telling you so which side do you think I am?" She said smirking I smirked back at her and said

"Good to know, you're one of the people I trust, so please don't break it" I said to her

"Of course, you help through bad times so it's time I repay you back" She said I just nodded to her and continued using my phone.

Time skip: 30 Minutes

"There you're done already, just stay put and don't move around" The make-up said while spraying hair spray for the finishing touch. I just nodded to her and went to sit on the sofa, while scrolling through my SNS a message suddenly popped up on my screen. I checked who the sender was and found out that it was Jimin.

J: I'll be watching the conference later

R: There's nothing really much to watch, I'll just follow what's on the script since it will be the last time I will give them a proper gift by doing it really well but will also back clash to them really quick

J: Still I'm going to watch it, I'll never miss it for the world

R: Okay then, I just have 5 minutes I still need to check things, is it okay if I go already

J: It's okay good luck

R: Thank you

After that conversation, I put my phone down and started rehearsing my lines even though I already know all the flows of the program and my lines. After a minute of rehearsing the staff called me and said that I need to stand beside the stage since the MC is already starting the talk. After a few minutes, the MC called me to the stage, once I went to the stage I was blinded by the flashes of the camera, I quickly went to my seat and the MC started talking to me.

"Okay, let's start asking the questions, we're the one who is going to pick the questions" He said causing the reporters to yell really loud.

"Is it true that you're the one who's making issues for Nancy Mcdonie?" one reporter yelled super loud that the MC turned to him and chose him to ask the question to me.
