Fuck man my head is throbbing. The moment my eyes opened I shut them again. The sunlight was so bright I felt a piercing pain go through my head. I was so drunk last night.

Eventually I was able to open my eyes and sit up. I noticed I was in my room.

Weird.

I don't remember half the things I did last night let alone how I got home.

On my bedside table was a glass of water, some tablets and a note. I took the tablets and water first before reading the note.

'To April...

Flashback, Jay POV

I heard footsteps outside leading towards the front door. I jumped up from the couch and ran to the door hoping it was April. It was midnight and she hadn't answered any of my calls.

I saw the doorknob start twisting and before the other person could open the door, I yanked the door open.

"April are you-" I stopped. The feelings of surprise and fear erupted in my stomach. "Sunghoon what are you doing here?"

In front of me was a past out April in the arms of a Sunghoon who had a sinister smile on his face, but I could sense anger behind the smile.

When he saw me he laughed.

"I fucking knew it" was all he said before barging himself through the door, knocking me out the way. He made his way into April's room while I remained in my spot.

I'm terrified of this man. He is stronger than me and with a click of a finger and I could be dead.

Not long after I heard April's bedroom door close and footsteps leading back to me. When Sunghoon saw me he placed both hands in his pockets, slowly walking to me with that same sinister smile on his face.

"I had a small feeling that you were here but I didn't believe you actually were here"

"I had no where else to go" I said watching him stop in front of me.

"That was your fault for falling for a human that you lost. You gave up your power just to have a chance with her. How pathetic can you really be"

I was silent. He was right. I risked it all just to have a chance with April one last time. But the thing is, I think that chance I took was working. 'Was' until he came.

"Listen here and I want you to listen carefully" he grabbed my by neck before slamming me to the nearest wall. "I wouldn't give two fucks if I killed you in front of her. I don't care if she would be terrified, I'd be happy that you're out the picture and it's just me and her. So I'd suggest you stay away from her. I want you to never see her again, unless you want me to really end you"

Sunghoon let go of my neck and started walking towards the door.

"This is my last warning" was all he said before walking away completely.

I sat on the floor, a wave of sadness washed over me as I thought of all the things I needed to do.

End of flashback.

I'm sorry I had to leave on such short notice but please look after yourself. You have work today so take these tablets. And please don't visit me at work, it'll just make situations worse.

My tear start falling onto the letter. Then I became a crying mess.

He was forced to leave. I was angry and sad.

I did what he asked me not to do, visit him at work.

When I got out the car I bolted for the door. I pushed the doors open to reveal a semi busy cafe with Jay as the barista.

He looked so gloomy and upset. When he looked at me I was hoping to see his happy and excited face. But instead I was met with a shocked, worried and guilty face.

I ran to the counter, I could feel the wave of sadness build up inside of me.

"Jay" what was I supposed to say.

"How can I help you" he tried not to bring anything up.

"Jay please, tell me what's happening."

I watched as he took a deep breath, I was hopping that he would tell me everything. But I was wrong.

"If you're not gonna order than please step out of line. There's other people waiting." He voice was so cold yet so fragile it broke me.

"Please, don't push me away" tears start streaming down my face. I could tell I was drawing attention to other customers but I don't care. Suddenly I was pushed to the floor.

"Didn't you hear what he said." A man said as he stepped over me.

I looked at Jay but he wasn't looking at me. He was looking at the customer.

"How can I help you" I heard him say.

I listened to his words and left the cafe. I couldn't do anything so I left. I also listened to him by going to work. But I also needed to talk to a little someone at work. But here I am sitting on my chair doing no work and putting no effort to find that man. I'm just thinking of where everything went wrong.

Lia suddenly barged into the room and saw me. She noticed my puffy face and eyes stained with tears.

"Oh my what happened April" she came to me kneeling down so that we were eye level. The tears that pooled in my eyes were now streaming down my face.

Lia pulled me in for a tight hug while I continued to cry on her shoulder. We stayed like this for some time before she pulled back.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it but I need to tell you something" she said as she stood straight again. I wiped the remaining tears off my face before giving her my full attention.

"Sunghoon left the company."

What?

I wasn't sad anymore. I'm pissed.
