Terry McGinnis had just finished his usual school day filled with pointless lectures and boring stories from people he didn't really pay attention too at all, not that it was ever a bad thing; he just never took anything on board, no, his focus was on what was happening tonight. His mentor, the great Bruce Wayne, had told him that he had set Terry up for a long term mission as Batman, and that this would take him out of Gotham for a while, which meant only 2 things; either he was going to get this opportunity only once, or he was only getting it because no one else in the Justice League was suitable for this mission. Terry pondered but couldn't figure it out, so instead of heading back to his home; he headed straight for Wayne manor.
Once he had arrived, Bruce was in the main living area, with some well made soup.
"Terry. Your early." Bruce noted. "Well can you blame me? Its not everyday I get a message from you saying 'long term mission, Batman needed, top priority' now do I Wayne?" Terry responded.
Bruce sighed and got up, he walked over to the well known grandfather clock, and turned to Terry.
"Relax McGinnis, it's not like I'm sending you into another realm like the justice lords...well." Bruce smirked, Terry didn't like that one bit, but before he could question, Bruce pulled the lever that revealed the entrance to the Batcave."Shall we get you on your way then?" Bruce asked.

"So let me get this straight...you want me, to go to ENGLAND, to a SCHOOL OF MAGIC, TO LEARN ABOUT WIZARDS? Bruce that is the single dumbest mission I have ever heard, and I had to deal with the Dee-Dee twins 6 times in one day."
Terry exclaimed.
Bruce had set Terry up to fly over to England to attend the Hogwarts school of wizarding and witchcraft, where he would be positioned there to learn about magic and spells, though one thing didn't sit right with Terry."Wait, also; you want Batman there too? So I'm gonna need the suit, the boots AND the batwing? And this is supposed to be secret?" Terry asked.
Bruce simply nodded. "May I remind you McGinnis you defeated The Joker of all enemies, surely you can take on a bunch of kids your age learning about things with wands and spells..." Bruce exclaimed.
"It's not that Bruce; what happens IF Batman's needed there, how am I supposed to explain that one?""Simple," Bruce answered, "Don't."
Brutal honestly from the boss, McGinnis knew that Bruce trusted him to do this mission to his best ability; and treat it with the upmost importance, because above all else, he was The Batman, The Tomorrow Knight, the face of fear in criminals eyes, surely he could survive a magic school relatively safe, right?

Regret. That's all that she could think of right now, once again she had been exploited by Draco and his Slytherin gang, and she had had enough. Hermione Granger ran straight to her dorm room and slammed the door, she hated this happening every passing week, people laughing at her for being alone, true she had the other members of The Golden Trio, but she needed more, she needed someone to have them care for her more than anyone would, she needed comfort like no friend could give, she needed a guy to give her affection, but she had no one.
Ginny Weasley, Hermione's best friend, opened the door and came into the room, sitting next to Hermione as she wept,
"Hermione please, I hate seeing you like this, I know that it looks difficult right now, but you have to know that someone will come along sooner or later to sweep you off your feet, I know it will happen." She said
But Hermione had none of it.
"NO ONE WILL GINNY! No one will want to be with me after this year, I have one year left and then what am I to do?! Grow old with a bunch of cats and stay alone for eternity?!? IS THAT MY FATE??" Hermione slammed her face into a pillow and wept even more, Ginny was heartbroken to see her best friend like this...But then she remembered...
"You do know what Dumbledore said yesterday, right?" Ginny asked, Hermione looked up, with a confused look on her face. "N-no, what did he say?"
Ginny beamed, "There's supposed to be a new transfer student coming into Hogwarts next week, and rumour has it that it's a teen boy your age! You never knowwwww..." Ginny exclaimed, clearly trying to make a positive comment, Hermione thought, and thought, could this transfer student really be a lifeline for her? Could she finally write the final wrong in her life? Only time would tell for that...————————————————————
Terry had finished packing with all his items he needed, and packed them into the batwing, before he set off, he went over to the bat computer, and did a quick search of Hogwarts... to Terry's surprise however; the were no records of this school existing, no history logs, no fact files, not even a single report on this school at all...
He hated to admit it; but Terry McGinnis for the first time in his life as The Batman...was nervous.
And he had no idea what to expect.
(A/N: I hope you all enjoyed my very first dive into writing this fic! Hopefully as time goes on and I get more skilled the chapters will become better than ever before!
