To say you were nervous was a bit of an understatement. It's been awhile since you've shown anyone your music, let alone play with a group. You grabbed your go-to demo which was a song you wrote in anticipation of getting to use it with your ex-band, but never got the chance. As you walked out the front door, you stopped to pet Agni before you shut it and went on your way.
Your hair decided to not be too much of a pain today which was nice, you had styled it pretty quickly and were surprised how nicely it turned out. You decided on wearing some light make-up, and wearing a more casual outfit of a graphic tee of your favorite artist, a flannel being used an extra layer since it was getting colder, some black jeans, and a pair of sneakers that you somehow managed to keep pretty white even after having them for so long.
(✎: in this scene or any scene that I talk about hair/make-up/clothes, if you want to switch it up in your head that's perfectly fine! I just kinda wanna give an outline of the vibe ♡)The phone in your hand had a map on the screen, navigating you to a building about a half hour from your house. From your conversation with the phone number you texted last night, you had learned that the person's name was Mina and that she was the manager of the band. She gave you the address of the studio and told you to stop by around noon.
It was currently a little past 11:30, and you had finally reached the outside of the building where you were supposed to meet Mina. You shoot her a text saying you were here, or at least you had hoped you were at the right place. The one you currently were standing outside of was an all black brick complex, which seemed to go up about three floors, and was about three rooms wide from your estimate. You had been standing there for only a few seconds before you saw the front door fly open as you locked eyes with very big dark eyes with a golden irises. As you look at the girl in front of you, you notice she's a little shorter than you, and that she had the most beautiful pink skin, and short pink hair to match, with cute little horns sticking out from her head. She looked exactly like the pro hero Pinky. Honestly she probably was but you decided to comment on that later after you met the band.
"Hey! It's Y/N right?!" She immediately ran up to you, grabbing your hands in her smaller ones.
"Yes, that would be me. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say your Mina?"
"Yes ma'am! I'm so happy that you showed up! Let me go take you to where everyone else is! They're so excited to meet you, well... at least most of them are!"
She let go of one of your hands while still holding the other, then led you into the unknown building. As you were being pulled in, you looked around noticing the multiple different studios on the first floor. Each one seemed a little different than the last one. As your eyes wandered, Mina looked behind noticing how you were taking everything in.
"Pretty neat huh?" The pink haired girl asked.
"I've never seen studios like this before, last time I played in a band, we just played out of a garage."
"There's many different studios here, most of them just being music and art studios, but there's a couple for online personalities, which most of them are kinda bratty so we just ignore them when we can. Our studio is on the second floor, so we're just gonna ride the elevator up if that's okay with you."
You gave her a nod as you walked into the elevator. At this point, Mina had let go of your hand and you were fiddling with your fingers as she clicked the button to the next floor up.
The elevator opened it's doors to the second floor, where Mina started to lead you to the studio at the end of hall. She started to slow down once she reached the last door on the right, when she turned around and gave you a soft smile.
"Don't be nervous, they're great people. They might come on a little strong, but they have hearts of gold." She gave a wink before she opened the door.
As the door opened, you couldn't help but notice how huge the room was, it was much bigger on the inside than you thought it would be. The room was split in two, one being the mixing room, which had a huge soundboard, with lots of chairs and a big couch and television in the corner, while the second room was where the instruments were, which you could see due to the big glass window between the two rooms.
Across the room, a certain pair of eyes instantly noticed you, and couldn't look away as though if they did, you would suddenly disappear before they could get the chance to meet you.
"Hey guys! I'd like you to meet our new potential member!" She looked over to you and gave you a nudge forward, whispering in your ear to introduce yourself.
"Uh- Hello, my name is Y/N, it's nice to meet you guys." You gave a slight nod as you looked towards the four that were seated on the couch by the television. Almost instantly, one of them shot up off the couch and made his way towards you. You couldn't help but stare at his hair, which was an undercut with longer hair on top that reached a little below the tip on his ears. But what intrigued you the most about the blonde boy standing in front of you was the black streak in his hair that looked like a lightning bolt.
"Like the hair?" The blonde's golden eyes met yours, as he grabbed your hand, placing a light kiss on top of it, never breaking eye contact.
"Don't mind him," a girl with short purple hair spoke, as she came up behind the blonde and punched him in the arm. She looked familiar but you couldn't quite put your finger on it.
"What was that for?!" He asked while clutching the side of the arm.
"It's called 'respecting personal space', you should really try it out sometime." She turned to you as she gave you a small wave. "The name is Jiro, and that one there is Kaminari. Sorry about him."
As you let out a small laugh, you responded to the girl telling her it was alright. You looked over to see two guys making their way over. The one with long red hair and black roots reaching a little below the shoulder was the first to speak as he walked closer to you, completely towering over you.
"The name is Kirishima! It's nice to meet you!" He let out a toothy grin showing his sharper teeth almost reminding you of a shark, yet he somehow made it look adorable. "This over here is Bakugo." He pointed over his left shoulder to the shorter blonde haired guy who was still very much taller than you.
"I can speak for myself, shitty hair." He walked in front of Kirishima, so he was face to face with you. He didn't speak another word, but instead put out his hand to shake. Your (e/c) eyes met his crimson ones, as you reached out and shook his hand. You couldn't deny that the man in front of you was very attractive. He was shorter than the red head on his right by a couple inches, and was just barely taller than the other blonde. He had a very muscular build, but not one that was very overpowering, like he still had a little more room to grow if he wanted to. His hair was done in a spikey manner, but the more you looked, the more you realized how fluffy it actually was. You may or may not have forgotten you were still holding his hand before another hand was placed on your left shoulder from behind.
"Now that you've met everyone, let's hear a little bit about you and then hear your demo. You okay with that?"
You gave Mina a nod as everyone grabbed a chair or sat on the couch, ready to hear all about you.
