Bobbie grinned as their new cat, Jinx, made his way over toward Remus, who was sitting on a wooden stool as Bobbie attempted to trim his hair in their living room. Ever since the kids went back to school she noticed Remus was getting worse, so her and El went to a local shop to pick out a cat for him, hoping to lift his spirits.

Much like the project of making Harry a new room, Remus threw himself into caring for the cat. He needed distractions from the world around him. The cruel, terrible world.

"Have you mentally prepared yourself for tomorrow?" Bobbie questioned as she dusted some loose hairs from Remus's shoulders.

Remus looked back at the girl, his mouth morphed into a lopsided grin. "Could we ever be prepared for tomorrow?"

The next day Bobbie and Remus were being forced against their will to go to the Granger household to meet with Mrs. Granger and Mrs. Weasley to start planning their wedding. Bobbie honestly hoped to avoid all this fuss, but with her and her mother's relationship being much more stable it seemed to be an unlikely task.

"With those two planning our wedding you'll be showing up with a top hat and a morning coat," Bobbie giggled, snipping some more at Remus's brown locks.

"Merlin, your dress will be so poofy it'll stand up on it's own," Remus shook his head and Bobbie straightened it out once again, scolding him to stop moving. "Are you done yet?"

Bobbie rolled her eyes, holding up the hand mirror for Remus to gaze at her finished product. "You can be so impatient sometimes."

"I think you should quit your work as a healer and work at a barber shop instead darling," Remus said as he rose from the stool to peck the girl's lips.

The pair made their way up the rickety wooden stairs of their cottage, Jinx trailing behind them. Bobbie only brought him home a few days ago and they already had a routine set together. It was like having a much smaller (and furrier) Harry around.

Jinx hopped into their bed as they settled into it, climbing to rest in between them. "I'll never be able to sleep next to you again," Bobbie rolled her eyes with a grin.

"It's just until he gets a bit bigger. Tell mama how scared you get at night," he said as he picked up their small grey kitten, moving his body as Remus spoke for him in a high-pitched voice.

"You're ridiculous, Lupin. Goodnight boys," she said kissing Remus before leaning down to kiss the top of Jinx's head.

"I just think the top hat is so classic," Mrs. Granger beamed, Mrs. Weasley nodding in agreeance.

Bobbie peered across the table to Remus shooting him a look that read, told you so.

"Mum I know I promised to intervene in my own wedding planning as little as possible, and Remus is too polite to say anything, but he is not wearing a top hat," Bobbie stated and her mother opened her mouth to interject. "No morning coat either!"

"You two are no fun," Mrs. Granger frowned. She attempted to play the "you're my first child to get married" guilt card, but Bobbie was having none of that.

"You both have to write your schedules down for us so we can pick a date for your ballroom dancing lesson," Mrs. Weasley said, pushing a piece of parchment and a quill across the table to the couple.

"Ballroom what!" Bobbie gasped in defeat. Those two women hadn't a clue what "small and simple" meant. "Remus and I can't afford all this..." She said the last part quietly, not wanting to upset Remus.

"Oh please your father and I have had money tucked away for you, Jack, and Hermione's weddings for years."

Bobbie sighed, letting the women continue with their frantic planning. She knew this was something the two mothers were delighted to be part of, Mrs. Weasley in particular. Though she was ecstatic in the same manner about planning her eldest son's wedding, the Weasleys were unfortunately not well off.

Bobbie and Remus absolutely loved Arthur Weasley's line of work, and Bobbie adored telling him about several muggle artifacts and traditions (as she grew up half in the Muggle world). She recalled how fascinated he had been when she told him all about the telephone. "Perplexing creatures, muggles that is." He had said.

Though in her eyes Arthur Weasley was a noble hard working man, he was a bit of an outcast in the wizarding world for being so in tune with Muggles. He especially received criticism from families such as they Malfoys, who believed wizards -pure blood wizards specifically - were the superior beings. She felt awful for the Weasley's, though they were a pure blood family, they received hatred from many others for their fathers line of work and the little gold they had to their name.

Bobbie recalled how embarrassed the twins had been the first time she and Hermione had come to the Burrow, showing them around the house with red cheeks. When the Granger girls said nothing but how much they loved the Burrow the Weasley twins knew that had found friends for life.

"I was thinking we should have the wedding next summer," Molly suggested. Bobbie and Remus had no objections, though they weren't sure how they were supposed to say no to the two mothers.

They spent the entirety of the afternoon shuffling through several aspects of the wedding, and the couple felt as though their heads were about to explode as they bid the ladies goodbye. This was only the first day of planning the festivities and Bobbie wasn't sure how they were meant to collaborate for nearly and entire year.

"Regretting asking me to marry you yet?" Bobbie chuckled as they stepped onto the porch, hands full of baked goods Molly packed away for them.

Remus reached to put his arm around his fiancé, lightly kissing the top of her head. "Never."
