As I led Haruhi upstairs, she keeps looking at the paintings around the hall. Hopefully she doesn't recognize that their all of me. She suddenly stops at the painting of Ciel and I and I freeze. The one picture I really wanted to forget is their plain as day, pulling at my heartstrings.
"Who is he?" She asks quietly
"He was my fiance" I whispered
"Was?" She questioned
"Please I don't want to talk about it ok?" I squeaked
She nodded and I led her into my room.
"Now to get you into some nice clothes" I say smiling
Haruhi shys away and starts to disagree, but I silence her and drag her into my closet. I put her in a long purple top and pair of black jeans.
"Is that comfortable?" I ask cautiously
She nods and I smile "Good now let me get changed and then we can have some fun"
I change into a pair of blue jeans and a long blue and black top.
"You ready?" I ask
"Sure, but what are we going to do?"she asks
"Have fun like I said before" I say
I run, pulling her behind me, to my favorite place on the grounds, the garden. I show her to the gazebo and stop at the bench breathless.
"This is really amazing, Cait" she says
"Thanks I planted it myself" I answer
She looks at to make sure I'm serious and I laugh. As I take her on a tour of the garden, I explain all of the flowers and trees. Then my cell phone rings
"Hello?"
"Ah Caitlin, it's Kyoya "
Fantastic I think to myself
"What's up Kyoya?"
"Well Tamaki asked me to call you to see if you know where Haruhi is."
"She's with me at my house" I answered as calmly as I could
"How did you get my phone number?" I asked
"Easily I looked through your school records" he answered nonchalantly
I should have known when I joined this club, I'd be stalked.
"So why does Tamaki need to know where Haruhi is?" I ask through gritted teeth
"Oh he just wanted to make sure she was ok, and Caitlin" he said
"Yes?"
"When will we be able to visit your estate?"
My skin blanched and I stuttered
"I don't know when maybe I can throw a ball... later this month" I answered swallowing hard
"That would be splendid, Caitlin. Who will be attending?"
"Well the host club and then I could invite some of my other friends though I have to admit their a bit......strange."I stutter out
"Great, I'll tell the rest of the hosts and I'll be seeing you, Caitlin"
Then the line goes dead, what did I just get myself into?
"Who was that, Cait?"asked Haruhi
"It was Kyoya" I answer through gritted teeth
Haruhi laughs and says
"I should have known, so what's this about a ball later this month?"
"Apparently, the hosts want to visit my home and I agreed to throw a ball so they could come over and meet some of my other friends."I state after putting my face in my hands
"I'll help you if you want" she answers
I embrace her and mutter my thanks. We stroll through the garden some more. I offer Haruhi a tour of the manor and she gladly accepts.
"Finny, Bard, Mey-Rin come here"
"Yes Mistress" they all answered
Haruhi stares at the strange bunch of servants.
"First, I told you not to call me that call me, Cait, you are my friends after all, and second this is my new friend Haruhi"
She waves shyly from behind me and they all smile at her.
"Now introduce yourselves" I state
"I'm Finny, I'm the gardener, though Cait likes to do things herself alot."he says with a smile
"I'm Bardroy, but you can call me Bard and I'm the head chef, but yet again Cait likes to be in charge" he says cigarette still hanging from his lips
"I'm Mey-Rin and I'm the maid here, yes I am. Cait, does help me out alot."she says
"Wow, Cait you may be rich, but you sure don't act like it" says Haruhi
"Just because you have money, you don't have to use it and I have fun doing everyday things it helps me relax" I say wistfully
