------------| Naruto's POV |------------

Naruto woke up with bandages on his cut up arm and a pain in his forehead. Groggily, he remember what previously happened to him. The blood, the blade, the fall. Looking up to the ceiling above him, he noticed that he was no longer in the bathroom or in his bedroom, for that matter. Naruto figured he was in the nurse's office and Kiba must had brought him down. Relaxing his tensed muscles, Naruto felt a strange warmth radiating from his left side. When he look in that direction a body lay next to him. Naruto's heart went into overdrive and small butterflies ambushed the sides of his stomach as he noticed the familiar hair style and wide shoulders.

Sasuke.

The raven's breath tingled on Naruto's arm and caused goosebumps to rise. Shivering slightly, Naruto carefully snuggled himself into Sasuke's chest. Feeling the breaths going in and out of the sleeping boy next to him comforted Naruto. The way Sasuke's smooth skin and cotton shirt rubbed against his cheek made all the worries in the world disappear. And when a strong arm wrapped itself around Naruto's waist and pulled him closer, the pain he had once felt, vanished. This comfort, this warmth, this is what he truly needed.

Burrowing closer to the heat source, Naruto woke Sasuke up unintentionally. Glancing up, the sleepy blonde saw two glorious onyx eyes gaze at him. They were honest, pure, but sad. In a flash, Naruto recalled why he had cut himself. Sasuke and … Ino.

“Naruto, I'm sorry. Ino just sort of attack me. I figured that if I just let her, she would leave me alone afterward. Please believe me,” came the husky voice. Tears were forming in the edges of Sasuke's glowing eyes and Naruto cupped his cheeks, wanting to comfort him. Closing his eyes and leaning his forehead against Sasuke's, Naruto sighed a breath of content.

“I believe you, Sasuke,” the blonde breathed.

Naruto was crushed into Sasuke's chest and two muscular arms tighten around his slim figure. “Thank you, thank you, thank you,” was whispered into his ear, causing the younger boy to shiver in pleasure. A blush formed in the tips of his cheeks. Quickly burrowing he face into the soft fabric, he tried to cover the embarrassment. Vibrations from Sasuke's chuckle flooded through his body and into Naruto's.

“Hey, Naruto?”

Looking up through his bangs, two blue eyes curious stared at Sasuke. “Yeah?” was what he had started to say before a pair of lips he had been dreaming to kiss again crashed against his. Rolling on top of him, Sasuke presses his lips even harder against Naruto's. While mesmerized in the taste and feel of Sasuke, a tongue brushed up on his bottom lip. Not getting what Sasuke wanted, Naruto's bottom lip then got bit. Gasping from the sudden gesture. Suddenly, Sasuke was exploring, caressing, tasting every inch and crevice of Naruto. Moaning, Naruto couldn't deny how he felt when Sasuke straddled his waist against his own and pressed that toned chest closer. They were so close together. Close enough to feel each other's hearts beating like frightened hummingbirds. Naruto had never felt so loved, so needed, in his entire life. Sai had never touched him so passionately nor had he even tried. Naruto was finding out that there was a lot of things Sai never did.

When cold fingertips made their way up Naruto's chest, he knew he couldn't go any further. Not today. With Sasuke he wanted to take it slow. Wanted to take the time to get to know all those small details about Sasuke and who he was.

Opening his eyes, Naruto saw that Sasuke had gotten his vibe to stop for now. Brushing a lock of Sasuke's silky hair out from the onyx eye, Naruto saw how deeply he was being stared at. Thoughts were flitting through those orbs. Whether they were good thoughts or bad ones, Naruto wasn't sure. He stared back though waiting for Sasuke to finally speak. When those eyes came back to reality, Sasuke blinked a few times and then looked directly into Naruto's eyes. Sasuke said something Naruto had never heard before.

“I'm addicted to you,” Sasuke whispered in a hesitant tone.

Naruto knew though. What Sasuke had meant to say.

“I love you, too.”
