New Beginnings

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Cole Pendery. I go to Lincoln High School in California with my best friends: Dalton Rapattoni, Gabe Martin, Dana Vaughns and Will Behlendorf. I have a beautiful girlfriend, Dakota. But we seem to be having relationship problems, were fighting more and more each day and each day it terrifies me. I keep hoping every day that when we fight it's just a horrible nightmare but everyday it gets more and more real and I hate it. I go home and talk to my wonderful and loving older sister Lucy after the fight between me and Dakota.

*At School*

"Hey bro, what should I do about Dakota?" Cole asked Dana.
"Has the fighting gotten worse?" Sana asked.
Cole paused for a few seconds before answering.
"Yes" Cole told him.
"I think you guys should take a break for a while" Dana told Cole.
"I don't want to" Cole said, then looked down.
"I-i-i still love her so much" Cole said stuttering.
"I know you do" Dana said patting him.
Cole looked up and Dana and then he walked over to Dakota.
"Dakota, can I speak with you? Alone." Cole asked her.
"Of course" Dakota said shooing off her friends.
"What's up?" She asked Cole farrowing her eyebrows.
"I think, we should take a break.." He told her.
Dakota looked at him in surprise.
"Why?" She asked tearing up.
Cole looked down hiding the tears in his eyes.
"Because of all the fighting" he said not looking up.
"Oh.." She said looking down and playing with her fingers.
"I'm sorry" Cole said looking up with his tear stand cheeks and walked away.
