The students of UA were walking to school when they were interrupted by the reporters that were standing outside the gates. Y/N looked at the reporters, "What are all of them doing here? Don't they have better things to report than the walking habits of teenage students?" "they're here because of All Might." Y/N turned to see Yaoyorozu. Y/N asked, "What do you mean?" Yaoyorozu said, "Well, All Might is the Number One hero, so him becoming a teacher was a surprise to everyone. I'm pretty sure that the reporters want to ask him questions about that." Y/N said, "Then shouldn't they ask him directly. He still goes out of the school to fight crime and he has his agency. They can just go there to ask him all those questions. It's not like the teachers have to live at the school." Yaoyorozu chuckled, "I suppose you're right. There's absolutely no reason why the teachers would have to live at UA." The two continued to walk to the gates. Y/N grabbed Yaoyorozu's hand, "Quick. While they're interviewing Iida. Let's make a run for it." Yaoyorozu nodded and the two of them ran past the reporters and into the school. Y/N and Yaoyorozu looked back to see the reporters become bored with Iida's long explanation, causing them to laugh as they continue to make their way to class. As they take their seats, Mineta stares at them. Yaoyorozu asked, "Mineta, what's wrong?" Mineta said, "The two of you are acting all buddy-buddy. And you came into class together. That's couples' one-o-one." Y/N raised an eyebrow, "We just came in together because we ran into each other outside the gate. We ran past the reporters while they were interviewing Iida." Yaoyorozu said, "Yes. We even laughed because we felt bad for the reporters because they had to listen to Iida's long response." Mineta calmed down a little, "Really? You're not going to start dating?" Y/N said, "Cross my heart." Mineta let out a sigh and sat back in his seat. The rest of the students entered the classroom, followed by Mr. Aizawa. Aizawa said, "Alright everyone. I hope you learned some things from the training exercise. Bakugo, don't get pouty just because you lost a battle. Grow up already. Midoriya, I heard that you hurt yourself when you used your quirk. Learn how to control it. Now, you need to make a decision that will affect the rest of your time here." The students tensed at Aizawa's words, worried what he meant. Aizawa continued, "It's time to pick a class president." The students became excited and several offered to take the position. Y/N asked Mineta and Yaoyorozu, "Uh, what's a class president?" Mineta turned back to him, "You don't know?!" Y/N shook his head, "I was homeschooled before high school, so all my classes were just me." Yaoyorozu explained, "A class president is a leader for the students. They usually just have extra paperwork and duties to fulfill, but in a hero school, they're a leader for future heroes. It's a very enticing position if you want to be recognized by others as a leader." Y/N nodded in understanding. Iida stood up, "Listen to all of you. This is not a position that we should not decide simply because we want to. We must solve this fairly with a vote." The others students listen to him as he too had his hand in the air. Y/N coughed, "Hypocrite." Jiro said, "Yeah, it's obvious you want the job as much as us." Iida said, "We should decide the class president with a vote. Whoever gets the most votes gets the position of class president." Kirishima said, "But won't everyone just vote for themselves?" Iida said, "That's precisely why the one who gets the most votes is best qualified to lead." Asui said, "But we haven't known each other very long. How will we vote?" Iida said, "Whoever gets the most votes would have proven themselves to their classmates and earned the position." The other students agreed and they voted. The end results were Midoriya: 3 votes and Yaoyorozu: 2 votes. Aizawa said, "Then Midoriya is the class president and Yaoyorozu will be his deputy." Midoriya seemed surprised that he was elected. Iida groaned over the fact that he hadn't received any votes. Y/N was surprised, "He wanted the position but didn't even vote for himself. Idiot." Mineta said, "You only got one vote." Y/N said, "I didn't want the position to begin with. I guess someone else voted for me."
Lunch time came, causing the students to head to the cafeteria to eat the lunch made by Lunch Rush. Y/N sat at a table with Yaoyorozu and Mineta. Y/N said, "Congratulations on becoming deputy Yaoyorozu." Yaoyorozu said, "Yes, it is an honor, but I wish I had become the president. Maybe I should have voted for myself." Y/N asked, "Then were you the one who voted for me?" Yaoyorozu nodded. Y/N continued, "Huh, guess that means that someone else voted for you. Oh well." Yaoyorozu asked, "Why did you vote for me?" Y/N said, "Well, I just thought that you'd do a good job at it. Nothing more." Yaoyorozu smiled softly and they returned to eating. After a few minutes, an alarm went off. One of the third years said that it meant that someone had passed the school's defenses. All the students began panicking until Iida went to the door frame and told them that it was just the press and that they should calm themselves. The students calmed down and evacuated the lunch room orderly.
After lunch, Midoriya renounced his position as class president and gave it to Iida instead. Iida accepted the position. After school, Yaoyorozu let out a disappointed sigh, "Why was Iida given the position? I actually had votes." Y/N said, "Well, that's just how a corrupt democracy works." Yaoyorozu said, "Please don't call our classmates corrupt." Y/N said, "No promises. Well, I need to get going. We'll be counting on you from now on deputy Yaoyorozu. See ya tomorrow." Y/N waved bye as he ran out of the classroom.
