❄️Prologue❄️

Walking home from a busy day at school, you were so so happy that it was finally winter break, looking up at the sky, "it's an overcast" you sigh and look at your friend who's walking beside you. "Why do you care about the weather so much y/n?" She says as she stares at her phone in her hand. "Because I wanted to see the sun..." you pout softly and press the button at the crosswalk waiting for the light to turn red so you and f/n can cross the street.

Eventually after a long minute the light turns red and you tap f/n "come on, the lights red we can cross now" you say grabbing her hand and pulling her across the street, as you made it to the other side of the road and safely onto the sidewalk, a car zooms by right behind you and f/n scaring her and you both "that car could've hit us y/n! Why don't you ever look both ways before crossing the road?!" You friend yells "your face was buried deep within your phone ever since we got out of school, don't you dare tell me how to pay attention!" You say loudly but it comes out like an angry pout which causes your friend to laugh at you "well... at least it didn't hit us that idiot should've watched where they were going!" Your BFF says as she holds onto your hand and continues on walking while you walk beside her trying to match her steps and keep yours and hers in sync with hers. It's a weird habit you have trying to copy everything someone did around you but in your opinion it kept you rather calm.

As you followed your friend you both pass by a small shop selling sweets and so you stop and feel your pocket, your wallet was in there so you tugged on f/n to get her to stop "wanna get something to eat? I'm starved" you say to f/n who in return just shrugs her shoulders and nods following you into the small shop. Everything hit you like a truck it smelt so nice in there thanks to all the baked goods and candies in display cases.

You walked up to the counter and order f/s (favorite sweet) and got your friends favorite as well, you also decided to order your beloved
h/d (hot drink) and payed for it all before walking back over to your friend and giving her the sweets that you ordered and left the store sipping your drink. "Thank you y/n! You got my favorite!" Your friend says happily giving you a side hug as you smile "of course! Your my BFF after all"

Some time passed and you arrived in front of your home, waving good bye to f/n you walked into the house and took your shoes and jacket off then quickly ran upstairs after telling your mom you were home. You got to your room and laid down putting your now half empty drink on your stand next to your sweets. You opened your phone and texted f/n to tell her you were going to bed early. Shutting your phone off and turned around laying on your back and staring at the ceiling 'I'm so happy it's winter break' you sighed to yourself, you were too tired to get ready for bed so you just shut your eyes... drifting off into sleep

You wake up... "ugh...how long was I out?" Bright light and the cold hit you instantly like a truck and you shot up, your eyes widened as you noticed you're in a few inches of snow outside surrounded by tall leafless trees "where am I?!" You stood up quickly and turn around 'this has to be a dream!'
The cold told you otherwise
