The guards carefully laid your figure on the bed. "Get me the towels and clothes!" Consort Hayun order Queen Mother's maid. "You get me the royal physician immediately!" She commanded the royal guard who rushed out. "Kirin go to the kitchen and ask the royal chef to make the porridge and the meat soup." Kirin bowed with unhappy expression on her face as she ran walked out. Hayun was worried to death about your health. A feeling of everything getting messed up crawled her conscious. "Please god, do not let anything happen to the child and Y/n." She clasped her hand and prayed in a broken voice.

Her worrisome mind started working as it took in the situation they were in. She touched your hand and found it colder than before while Yunjae rubbed your feet as tears flowed down, mumbling a prayer. "Yunjae, help me remove her clothes." Hayun began to slowly remove your clothes along with Yunjae. Yunjae covered your body with blanket. Hayun pulled out a kerchief that she made for you and tried to dry your hair with that small cloth. The effort was useless and she threw it to the floor.

"Ahhhhhh!!!" Consort shouted out of frustration. "Just where are they?" she stood up and looked out of the chamber to find it only empty. She stomped in and sat beside you touching your now cold forehead. "Y/n, hang in there. The physician is coming." She whispered to you. Yunjae who calmed herself realising that crying would not do anything instead she should start acting up accord the situation.

"Your highness," Queen Mother's maids walk with requested items. Hayun not able to hold the frustration of them delaying their duty, lashed out at them. "So irresponsible ones are assigned to queen mother." She scolded before snatching the clothes from them and handing them to Yunjae who quickly unfolded them. "Now leave.!" She raised her voice. As soon as Yunjae began to dress you up, Hayun took the towel and tried to dry off your hair. Whenever your body was needed to be lifted to dress your hanbok, Hayun lifted you while Yunjae changed. After they dressed you, the guards cams in. "Your highness." They bowed and moved as the royal physician followed their gesture. "Royal physician, check on her. She was drenched from the rain and suddenly while talking she lost her consciousness." He bowed and started his check up. "How long has she been pregnant, your highness?" He asked as he took a glance of your big bump hidden behind the hanbok. "eight months." Yunjae replied catching everyone's attention. He nodded deeply thinking beside your figure.

He lifted the lids of both your eyes to read something that no one there understood, then your palm and pressed the fingers, the checking your pulse, and then came closer to your hear breathing. He nodded his head and did some calculation on his left hand fingers. With him taking too long to say anything, Hayun was slowing losing her patience. "Royal physician what is the problem?" She softly and carefully asked him. "Your highness," he looked at her. "There is a big problem." He looked down not wanting face consort Hayun. A gasp left from both the females lips. "What is it?" She asked fear clenching her heart. "Her current condition is very bad." A lump forming in his throat, agitating. "Her pulse is not like a normal pregnant woman would have. Pregnant women should never be put through pressure, consort Y/n has high blood pressure. It also seems that she has gestational diabetes which is dangerous for both the child and the mother. Also the history of two miscarriages, has weakened her body very much." He told them. Hayun cupped her mouth in disbelief, Yunjae's eyes began to tear up.

"No!" Yunjae exclaimed and held on to your leg. "Is there no way?" Hayun took a step forward to the physician as her despaired eyes looked at your unconscious self. Not hearing any reply she looked back at the physician, he had his head low. "What do you mean by your silence?" She raised her voice. Nothing should happen to them. No! I will not let it happen. Please God! Her mind freaked out as her heart beats skiped. "There is no other way unless and until she wakes up on her own, your highness." His voice feeble yet enough for her to hear. "How can there be no way?" She lashed out at him, having him flinch.

"DO - do something quickly. Losing them will not just cost your majesty but your life will be on stake as well. So do something to save them as well as your family." She threatened him indirectly. Yunjae silently cried with the thought of losing you.

"Yes, your highness." He stood up. There were no solutions that he could think of. Pregnant women were sensitive towards the regular herbal medicines, the effects were strong that it could effect the child, therefore no physician could ever serve them. Your conditions was worse, currently everything depended on you. He felt like a dragger kept near his throat, any wrong decision could slit his neck. "I shall prevail some measures, your highness." He bowed before leaving the place.

Yunjae broke out, crying harder as she fell on her knees beside your feet. Consort Hayun rushed to sooth her that everything would be fine. "If it had not been your highness....." She cried when she felt that Consort Hayun's hand came forward to caress her hair, "she would ha-ve never come to the pa-lace in this rain." her voice hiccupped. "She had so much in mind to worry.... and your highness fueled the fire in her." Her voice broke. It was unclear for Hayun what Yunjae just spoke about. "What are you speaking, Yunjae?" Hayun's voice sounded unclear and concerned. Yunjae pulled the small paper from the inner pocket of hanbok, held it out. Hayun was hesitant at first, but her hands were faster than her conscious. She opened to read, "You are repaid."

"You are repaid?" her brows furrowed wondering what this meant. "I never sent a message like this." Hayun spoke. Yunjae looked up at her, "it was delivered by your messenger." Yunjae wiped her tears. "My messenger?" she looked around wondering when she sent her messenger. "I never sent a message. Instead I got a message from Y/n saying she wanted to have tea with me and solve our misunderstanding and become friends." It was Yunjae's turn to furrow her teary eyes. "She never sent a message such as that your highness." Yunjae said as she stood up. "Then?" Hayun questioned looking at Yunjae. "The messenger said that the letter was sent by Y/n."

"Could it be Queen Mother?" Yunjae wiped her puffy eyes. Hayun looked at her not wanting to be believe. "How can you accuse her, Yunjae?" Her voice came out in disbelief. "Then who would try to cause a confusion? If it is not Queen Mother, how did she knew that both of you would come, why did she say the chambers are prepared for both of you, your highness?" Her words made Hayun realise the plan. With doubt Hayun questioned Yunjae's story, "Then why would she use such means? She could have just asked us to come."

"U don not know your highness. But what I said is true. The messenger acknowledged him as the servant of your hanok." Yunjae wiped her tears. "Your highness." Their ears perked at the voice and turned to find Kirin. "The stew is on progress. Royal chef also told that stew is better than porridge and is good for health." Hayun gave a nod to her and turned back to Yunjae. "We may discuss about this later, for now look after her. I will be in my chamber. If anything goes wrong, do not hesitate to call me." Yunjae bowed to Hayun who then took her leave.
