Vylad's pov
I am so glad that it was not Travis who got recalled. I mean. That would be terrible. I mean. He was just saved. I flopped on my bed. I motioned for Dante to come lay with me. He looked hesitant. I smiled kindly. He can over and laid down. I hugged him and fell asleep. He was comfortable. And warm. He felt real. Like a actual human. Maybe there are more to the Androids story and design than we all know about. Imma have to research that. I want the whole story and the truth. And I have a feeling. That will be extremely hard to get. I shut my mind down so I could sleep.
Travis' pov
I have a bad feeling. The creator had said he made a powerful enemy. After he protected me. If I put him in danger I don't know what I would do. Seeing as that is the opposite of what Androids are supposed to do. I need to keep him safe. Even though it puts myself at a extreme risk. But do I really want to risk it. I mean if this backfires on me I'm destroyed. However. At least I would have tried my hardest to protect Zane. He is more than just my owner and master. He is my friend. I need to protect him. Even though it could mean my death. But at this point. I don't care if I die saving him. I looked at him. He wrapped his arms around me in his sleep. He looked to be having a nightmare. I held him. I didn't like that he was having a nightmare. I gently pet the back of his head. I was stroking his hair. He relaxed. I could tell it helped. I smiled. This was a good thing. It made me happy. I relaxed and started falling asleep. This was the best. He was clinging to me like a koala.
