First off i have to appoligise for my terrible spelling. if you cant figure a word out lemme know and ill try and decipher what my brain was trying to say.
okay so i'm gonna give you some background information on how i got into DnD and how the group started and after thatthis will be stupid stories of our DnD adventures and if you want i can upload some campaigns but that will be awhile away as im about a couple of sessions into writing my first campaign as so far we are only on our first campaign and its a prewritten one and half of it im having to make up as everyone is new to the game and we are alllearning and im just going with it and just trying to make sure everyone enjoys it.
so my brother has quite a big DnD group with his friends and im kinda friends with some of them and he'd always host the sessions at our house and so i generally overheard them or was allowed to sit and watch them play and i'd grab drinks and food for them. but their group was smll and only had about 5 people but its now grown to about 15 of them so with covid mesures they've had to move online and they dont like the dynamic as it isn't the same as being in person which i totally agree with. but anyway i was allowed by one of his friends to join his one shot as long as i agreed not to fight withmy brother for a week as we were pretty violent as you do as sibling but i stuck to the agreement and so i made my first character and her stats were pretty high. somehow i have the luck of the dice and often find myself re rolling so my party dont get killed. but anyway i got to play this one shot but everyone else knew how to play and i was like i like the game but ahhh confusion but it was good as the others taught me but i still dont have much knowledge but im trying to learn more.
i was talking to some of my friends about DnD and for ages we said we should start a group but it never really happened but then out of all times we decided inlockdown to start and so one of them made a groupchat and added a few friends and then when therewas the rule of 6 we met outside for about an hour to get to know everyone as i only knew 2 of the 4 others and we decided that it'd be better to get to know everyone first and then on halloween we had our first session and everyon enjoyed it even though all of us are learning we alljust try to enjoy it and go with the flow.
