✨Dippers POV✨.

Hello, my names dipper, dipper pines and I'm a siren. While my sister Mabel has bright pink fins and tail mine are all shades of blue and sparkles in the light. I have big blue eyes with flecks of golden brown in them, also I have a soft mop of brown hair, with a pinetree tattoo on my shoulder as well as a big dipper birthmark on my forehead. (Which is how I got my name. Oh and I happen to be the prince of the sea, heir to the throne). But if I'm being honest I really don't want to be king. I just want to explore the surface, its always interested me. Especially humans I find them fascinating. I'm knocked out of my thoughts when I hear Mabel call out

"Hey dipping dot where are you?!" Even when screaming across a palace she still sounds like the ball of sunshine she is. She's always been more cheerful and happy than most. While I tend to be more nerdy and shy.
"In my room!" I yell back. While swimming out to meet her.

"Thank goodness you're here I thought you had snuck out again."

"Welll.. about that I was wondering if you could cover for me tonight?" I said rubbing the back of my neck, a habit I did whenever I was nervous.

"But tonight is the ball!" Mabel said while pocking my shoulder, " and its mine and yours birthday!"

"I know, I know but isn't it better I do something that I actually like rather than something people want of me?!"

"Well said, your going to make an amazing king!" Mabel said smiling, "and I'll cover for you."

"Thanks Mabel." I said, "awkward sibling hug?"

"Award sibling hug." She confirmed.

We reached out and hugged then froze awkwardly "Pat, pat." Then we patted each other's backs before pulling apart.

"Bye Mabel!" I said swimming out through the window, but not before giving a wave.

Once I was out of eyesight I didn't have to be careful anymore. So I took off to the surface. I sat on a rock and watched as the ships passed by. Soon I found myself dosing off in the sun.

*several hours later* time skip brought to you by my complete and utter laziness.
---------------------------------------------------------

I woke up to the cold of the sun beginning to set. Shit I have to get home! I was so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn't see the large pirate ship heading full speed towards me. But once I noticed it was too late. I tried diving down unnoticed but they spotted me and threw a net overboard getting my tail tangled in it. I was now unable to move let alone swim. Suddenly the net was being hauled up. Fuckity fuck, fuck shit. What can I do.

I remembered that I'm a siren I have sharp nails and teeth. I mentally face palmed. I started nawing on the ropes while trying to slice them with my nails.

But it was all for nothing, I was too late. My body was dangling over the deck of the boat. I saw a man with shiny yellow hair, and what looked to be golden eyes? Was that normal for humans? Well I was sure he was the captain not just because he was wearing fancy clothing and a captain's hat. But also how every one stepped out of the way when he walked by. Here's some pictures of him because I suck at description.

He made his way over "Well, well, well. Look what we caught. " he said leaning in threateningly. (Idk if this is even a word but if not it's one now;). I shrunk away from fear, all of the horror stories my grunkle stan had told me replayed on my mind. Sirens never being seen again, people finding dead sirens that had obviously been tortured before death, and more. I was scared shitless just thinking about what these ruthless pirates would do to me.

"Eightball get me a barrel and fill it with sea water, he'll die if he gets too dry!" He barked at who I assumed was eight ball. And sure enough once he said that the whole world began to spin. I felt myself on the verge of passing out.

Suddenly I felt strong arms wrap around me, but I couldn't see who. "Hold on Pinetree," a voice whispered in my ear. I was too tired to care though. Soon the world faded to black.
