I reluctantly park and head into the building. After searching all three stored I walk into the only one that looks like I can possibly make something out of the clothes they sell. I buy a dark pair of jeans that fit good and a black shirt that has AC/DC on the front of it. After I walk around for another twenty minutes I feel like I have seen everything in this place twice. I make my way out to the car and head back to the motel. Once I finally make it to my room , I take a quick shower get dressed and check my emails on my phone for awhile. Soon I get a text from Marvin.
“ we have landed at the small airport they have and are headed to the motel Sir.”
“Thanks Marvin, I appreciate the speed”
“no problem sir we will be right there”
I lay back on the bed and wait for Marvin and the pilot he hired to get here with my belongings. I cant wait to tell him that I have made up my mind that I will be staying here for the rest of the month and I will learn about melani until she sees me in a light where I can make her Mine.
Two weeks later
I have been here for two and a half weeks and still nothing from Melani. I cant go home without her she is who I need. Determined as ever I get dressed as nice as I can, jump in the Audi R8 and head to the coffee shop. As soon as I walk in the door I can smell Mel.
(Melani’s POV)
Everyday for the last two and a half weeks Trapper comes in and orders the same blueberry muffin and black coffee. He always asks if we can eat together and I have been unusually happy about spending time with him. When he walks in the shop I am bombarded with butterflies in my stomach and my heart starts beating a damn tattoo on my chest that I feel like everyone can see.
“Good Morning Tomas”
“Good Morning Melani”
“your early I haven’t got the muffins out of the oven yet. If you would like to wait I can have them ready soon.”
“ I am sorry Melani I have waited long enough. I cant wait any longer.”
“Well if you want I can have Jeremy make a run to the motel when they are done.”
As soon as I finish the sentence leaves my mouth I know there is something wrong with what I said and don’t know what it was. He takes three long strides and he is in front of my counter staring with the darkest brown to his eyes that I have ever seen.
My brain is screaming 'RUN'
