Chapter 3

Christina woke up in her bedroom. She looked to see he brother asleep next to her. She got clothes from her drawer and went to shower. But before she got in the shower she had received a text from Paul asking if they wanted to go on a date today. She replied yes. She took a shower and got ready for her date. After she was done showering she did her hair and make up and got her outfit on and was ready to go.

Soon as she was downstairs she saw Emily and Sam on the couch. "Where are you going" Sam asked. "On a date with Paul" Christina said. "You look so pretty" Emily said. Christina smiled. She heard a car honk. "I have to go. I will see you later" Christina said. Sam watched as she left. Emily noticed something wrong. "What's wrong" Emily asked. "She isn't a kid anymore. It's just sad to know that" Sam said. Emily smiled at him. "Yeah but that doesn't mean she is not gonna need you anymore"Emily said. Sam nodded. Paul took Christina to a diner. Sam, Embry, Jared and Jacob would be patrolling the area for the red head but they had to be careful because Charlie and his men were hunting them. "Okay so what's something you never told anyone" Paul asked. "Well I sing and dance. No one know not even my brother" Christina said." really. So let's talk about yesterday" Paul said." well I mean you saw what happened and your right. Jacob has me as his imprint but he falls for Bella" Christina said." I have people leave my life and thats what scares me. " Christina said. Paul sighed and grabbed her hand. "Well I'm not leaving you at all. I never really wanted to imprint but when I saw you I felt everything I hated about imprinting go away and I wanted to get to know you" Paul said. Christina smiled. "Thank you Paul." Christina said. He phone began to ring. "Hello... Hey Sam... What... Oh my god yeah we will meet you at the Clearwater house" Christina said then hung up." what happened" Paul asked." harry had a heart attack. He is gone" Christina said. They paid for the bill and left the diner and got in Paul truck to go to the Clearwater house. As soon as they got there they went inside to see Leah in the corner and Seth on the couch with his mother. Christina went up to them." I'm sorry for your loss" Christina said. Seth eye went wide." Christina" Seth said and hugged her." My dad is gone. " Seth said. Christina felt bad for the boy and continued to sooth him. First he and his sister lose their father then they shift into wolves. Seth soon fell asleep and Sue took him upstairs. Leah was still in the corner. Christina walked up to her. "I'm sorry about your dad Lele" Christina said. Leah head shot up. She only let's one person call her that. She looked to see Christina. "Chris" Leah said. The two girls hugged. "I'm sorry about your dad. But remember he is in a happy place watching over you and your brother. How you two will fit in the pack." Christina said. "But Sam and Emily. It still hurts" Leah said. "I know it does but remember Sam chodnt control what happened. I remember as soon as I left your dad called me telling me what happened. I called Sam and heard him crying. He told me 'Chris I messed up big. And I don't know how to fix it. "Christina said. Leah didn't know that." he still blames himself. And if Sam could turn back time he would but he love Emily an he loves you too. You were his first love. That doesn't mean you and him can't be friends or pack mates" Christina said. Leah knew what she was gonna do." your right. I need to forgive them" Leah said. Christine grabbed Leah hand and went outside and saw Sam and Emily. The couple turned around to see Leah." I'm sorry for getting mad at you both. I know you can't control what happens. I hope you can forgive me and we can start over" Leah said to Sam and Emily. The couple looked at Christina asking with their eyes if Leah was telling the truth. Christina nodded. Sam and Emily looked at Leah and smiled." of course we do Leah"Emily said hugging her cousin. Leah stiffened but then hugged Emily back. Sam joined the hug. Christina smiled." guys we have a problem. "Embry said. They looked." the Cullen's are coming back" Jared said. Christina and Sam looked at each other and sighed. "They might be able to help us catch the red head" Christina said. Sam sighed and nodded. Looks like there is no such thing as a happy life.
