When I got home of course my mother was sitting there. "Hey ma, sorry I left so late I was hungry."
She mugged me "I know you are about to be 17 khomet but you still live under my roof and abide by my rules."
I mentally told her to shut the fuck up but I nodded as I walked to my room. First thing tomorrow I was putting some of this money in the bank.
I was going to use about 2k for birthday party and to just spoil myself. The rest were going to be going to my car and house when I turn 18.
I laid in bed praying to god I don't get caught or worse my money gets taken.
"GET UP KHOMET JANAE!" I heard Natalie yell. I sighed taking a deep breath before getting up and going to brush my teeth.
After washing my face and all that I turned the shower on and grabbed my body wash and other shit.
Eventually I got out and got dressed in a black romper with some brown slides and I let my curly hair be in it's natural state deciding to just do my edges.
Applying some lashes and gloss and doing my eyebrows I was ready for the day and whatever they had planned.
"YALL LETS GO!" momma yelled making me grab my bad and leave going straight to the car to get in the front.
"You look cute." Avery and Monae told me as Natalie mugged me. I smiled knowing she probably wanted the front seat.
"Thanks yall, but I need a job and no I'm not stripping so don't even mention it monae." I told them.
My mother nodded her head, "hell yes you need a job girl. After 19 getting kicked out."
"Don't worry I'll be gone before you know it ." I chuckled. Little did she know I could leave right now.
"Work at Walmart, they hiring and your 16 which is the age they start hiring at." Natalie informed me.
I nodded my head , perfect. "We gonna stop there soon but first we going to carol house for her cook out." Ma said pulling up to somebody house.
I nodded and got out seeing mad people. It looked so ghetto. But I was use to ghetto.
"Go have fun , we'll leave In like 20 minutes me and her just need to catch up."
Me and my sisters knew that was a damn lie. We gonna be here for hours. Looking around I spotted ole boy from the party and mentally screamed.
He must have felt me looking because he turned around and Narrowed his eyes at me.
"Let's go to- hey , you left so quickly last time I didn't even catch your name." He spoke before I could tell my sisters to leave.
I closed my eyes before Turning to him and smiling. "Who are you again?" his smile dropped And a mug replaced it.
"Stop playing with me. You know Who I am. And where the fuck is my chain." He angrily spat.
I continued my act and tilted My head. "I'm really sorry , but I'm dead ass who the fuck are you."
He sighed before he began to talk again. "That party from last month, I fucked you and you left before I woke up. When I DID wake up my chain was gone."
"OH that's why I woke up in somebody else clothes. I don't even remember that night but I can tell you I didn't wake Up with no chain so wrong person." I lied again , well partially.
He groaned as he turned around but stopped and walked back over. "What's your name?"
"Janae." I said. Well my middle name at least
"I'm Kai. I'm 27 by the way, and wait let me guess your 22?" He chuckled and I froze.

I saw my sisters were gone so I went and sat with my mom. The rest of the night I was quite.
