A battle I have fought for years. A battle that gets the best of me when I least expect it. Anxiety is always sneaking up on me. Like a shadowless demon waiting to strike when I am feeling the happiest, or when I believe I have control. The worst part is having to welcome it in my everyday life and accept that this awful feeling will haunt me forever. It drains me of everything, leaves me feeling shaken and covered in sweat. It robs me of moments and peace.
