Brittany: "What do you want Spikey to do, Elena? Be ready for this question for when Shadow comes in and speak to you about it. I'm going to check on my step-daughter, I haven't communicated with her since you asked me to help you with Shadow. Good luck and I know you'll learn to like me." She smiles. I never saw her smile before. "Oh, may I use your mirror in the closet to go home?" At least she is using her manners this time; I just wished she used it sooner. I nod and got up to open my closet for her. I let her go through the mirror and I closed the closet door and went straight back to my comfortable and warm bed.
Just then, Shadow came in and I stared at him. How did she know he would come in? Oh wait, she can read minds. I keep forgetting.
"Elena."
Shadow's Point of View:
"Elena.." I say. I'm assuming Brittany has already spoken to Elena about Spikey and the training school. She's a mind reader. I bet she spoke to her while I was speaking to Spikey. Has she spoken to Elena; probably.
Elena looks at me. She looks like she's been waiting for me to speak to her. She sits up, "Shadow," she says in the same tone of voice.
"We need to talk," I say as I sat on the bed. She nods at me. I sit next to her on the bed. I can tell she was lying down and she didn't want to get up from the bed.
"I want Spikey to go to training school," I have already made the decision that he's going to go, but I still have to include her in the decision because he's her biological son and I'm the uncle. I wish I was the father. "He's already getting pack," she raises an eyebrow.
Her: "So, you've made another decision without me? Like how you left me without speaking to me first, then you got mad at me for saying Savior is his biological father because he is. And you went for weeks without speaking to me and made me very depressed. He is my son. I make the decisions!" I knew she was mad and she had every right to be, but I also had a part in this. I'm not her husband yet, but I will be soon. She is my mate and she said it herself.
"Babe," I take her hand, "We are mates-"
"That doesn't mean you can make decisions without me regarding my son," she cuts me off and I try hard not to be mad with her. I had no reason to be mad with her. I did shit to her and left her with Savior.
"Babe, do you want him to go to training school?" She looks at me a bit surprised and shocked. She holds my hand tight.
