Scarlett stood in-front of the mirror looking at her reflection wondering if she was too dressed up. She then remembered where she was and laughed, she was at the Malfoy manor where suits were casual wear. Gigi went on rambling at how she didn't have enough time to do her normal set of makeup, but Scarlett confined to stare at the dress she wore.

Scarlett took one last look at herself and threw her heels on. She was wearing a sparkly white, flowy dress with thin straps and a low cut back, something she knew Draco wouldn't be happy about. Her hair was in a formal bun and a light layer of makeup was stuck to her face. She wore three inch heels making her an inch shorter than Draco's tall figure.

Georgia wore an emerald green, sparkly halter, floor length dress. She paired it with emerald earrings and sneakers, which Scarlett said would give Narcissa a heart attack. She then responded with, "What Cissy doesn't know won't kill her." Gigi put her hair up into a tight ponytail and also had light makeup on.

"Are you ready," Gigi asked? Scarlett took a deep breath and nodded yes, grabbing her best friends hand and making their way down the marble steps. Both girls were greeted by their dates, and an over joyed Narcissa.

She rushed over to them pulling them into hugs, "You both look gorgeous, dears. Green is certainly your color Georgia, and oh my Scarlett you must wear your hair this way more often. You look absolutely stunning and so grown up-"

Draco coughed causing his mother to stop her rambling, "Mother let's not suffocate the girls." She smiled as Blaise chuckled and stepped towards gigi pulling her away, leaving Draco and Scarlett alone.

He leaned down and kissed her cheek before whispering in her ear, "You look gorgeous tonight, mother was right you should wear your head like this more."

A light tint of red spread across her cheeks, "Thank you Dragon, you look very handsome yourself this evening." He was wearing a light grey suit, that perfectly complimented her dress, clearly Cissy's doing. She smiled up into his grey eyes, getting lost in them. Him doing the same. He started leaning down, but not before getting interrupted by his mother calling him into the living room.

The Malfoy Christmas Ball was the most prestigious social event for the pureblood community. Narcissa spends month of her year planning this one event. Being escorted by a Malfoy was a big deal in this society, and this year Scarlett had the honor of doing so. Anyone with eyes could see they were a gorgeous couple, let alone a perfect one. There wasn't a doubt in anyone's mind that they'd be together for a long time, through thick and thin. It also didn't go unnoticed by Narcissa that Scarletts influence on her son was for the better.

"I would be honored to introduce my son, Draco Malfoy, and his girlfriend, Scarlett Fox, to open the dance tonight," Lucius announced to the crowd in the ballroom.  Everyone's eyes scanned the room looking for the lovely couple, seeing Draco also looking for his girl and the young Fox with a mortified look. Scarlett knew it was tradition for a Malfoy to open the ball, but she didn't think that they would be doing the honor this year.

Draco walked up to her holding his hand, and she took it hesitantly. He guided her to the dance floor, an open spot the guests cleared for them. She could see from the corner of her eyes, Gigi cheering her on and Blaise doing the same for Draco.
