Chapter 4: Smile

Arius smiled brightly at the boy with bandages. The boy looked at him blankly before looking away. Arius shrugged one shoulder taking it as he was too shy. After lunch Arius waved goodbye to everyone else as he followed reiji to wherever his next class was.

Just Arius's luck- the boy with bandages was in that class. They held eye contact once again before Arius sat down next to reiji. The teacher started talking,

"Hello class today we will complete an assignment where you will have to-"

Just then on the intercom reiji was called to the office.

He sighed, "I'll be back Arius stay here until I get back." He then left the classroom.

"Welp anyway- today you will start a project where you will need a partner, you will create a poster on chemestry during class time for the next 2 days!" The teacher finished.

Almost all the guys came up to Arius asking to be his partner, "u-um..?" He felt intimidated and very nervous. He squeezed pit of the crowd of students. He awkwardly shuffled twords the boy with bandages.

"C-can I be your partner..?" He asked nervously. The male classmates gasped and sighed in disappointment :(

The boy with bandages slowly nodded. Arius smiled and pulled his chair over next to him.

"Hi, my name is Arius!"

The boy stared emptily before speaking in a raspy quiet tone, ".. Azusa... Mukami...."

Arius nodded smiling, "Its nice to meet you Azusa!"

Time skippp~

Azusa and Arius were making their poster with Arius mostly ranting excitedly and Azusa nodding occasionally.

When class was over Arius sighed sadly. Azusa packed his things and was about to leave before speaking to Arius,

"You should.. come.. over... my.. house.." he continued, "To.. work.. on.. the ...project.. one ..of these.. days.."

"Ofcourse!" Arius smiled, "We are friends right?"

Azusa looked flustered for a moment, ".. sure.." before walking out of the classroom. Arius sighed happily, he had made another friend! He exited the classroom. He waited a moment for reiji but he never returned. Arius walked away from the classroom- to the front of the school where he saw all of the sakamaki brothers except Subaru and reiji. They didnt notice Arius yet.

Arius walked up to them. Yui immediately started glaring at him. Arius sighed before tugging at laitos sleeve- getting his attention.

They all seemed to be glaring at someone before forwarding their attention to Arius. (Except shu who was sleep standing? You know what he does -_-)

Laito quickly changed his glaring expression to a grin when noticing arius.

"L-laito kun, where is reiji and Subaru?"

Laito smiled and pet his head, "ahh~ Dont worry my little pet~ They are at home at the moment. Subaru is getting punishment for getting into a fight~"

Arius immediately got worried, "he isnt hurt is he?"

"Oh no! Fufufu~ But he will be.." he muttered the last part but Arius still heard.

"H-He will get hurt later?" Arius muttered confused and even more worried.

Laito hummed, "well.. maybe if you give me a kiss I can make sure he doesnt get hurt~"

Arius turned beet red. The others hadnt noticed too distracted by whoever's they were glaring at- only yui had noticed but she couldnt hear his and laitos conversation. She just stared and watched them in fustration.
