This is a song I made many years ago that I discarded as useless just came back to me. But it recently came back to me. :)
Amen
She sits in the dark with her head in her arms,
"I tried and did my best; how'd it go wrong?"
She's wanting to pray, but how to being,
"I've wandered long without Him."
chorus:
"Lord, take my hand.
I want to start over again.
Lord, bring me near,
I've wandered so far, You're my only really start, in my heart I entrust in You.
Amen!"
He's working real hard trying to fight on his own.
"My strength is really thin; I can't do this alone."
He's wanting to pray, but how to begin,
"I've wandered long without Him."

She opens her eyes to that glorious sight.
And she sees her Father above.
She runs into His arms.
"Thank you, Lord, for taking my hand.
You let me start over again.
Thank you, Lord, for bringing me near,
I had wandered so far, You were my only real start, in my heart entrusted in You.
Amen!"
