"Miss Mayers it seems like you have something to share with us" our math teacher says.

"no sir I don't " I reply trying my best to avoid his gaze.

"then would you mind handing over the paper in you hand?" he asks. I felt like the ground should open up and drag me into it.

All because of that stupid Adriel.

"sir you're looking quite handsome today'' Israel shouts from the back.

the class bursts into laughter, because if there was one thing that was crystal clear it was that Mr Jethro was far from handsome. No cap.

" well thank you Mr Maleek, I'm sure we can talk more about it during detention today" he replies clearly very upset . " back to what I was saying" he says turning back to face the board and completely forgetting about me. Thank God.

After classes I quickly escape from the class room with the crowd trying my best to avoid Adriel , Israel and Crater although the last person didn't really feel like a threat to me. I was lucky that Angie was coming back today I would give her the beating of a life time the moment I laid my eyes on her.

luckily for me the moment came earlier than I anticipated, I saw her waving at me from afar, down the hall.

she was looking as cheerful as always and I just wanted to smack that smile off her face.

"hello Allycake!, my trip was wonderful but I missed you a lot " she said. Allycake.. the stupid nickname she forced on me when we first became friends.

"is that the reason you sold my freedom to the devil?" I ask her.

" whatsoever do you mean Allycake, " she says feigning ignorance.

"you know what I mean, you gave my information to Israel and Adriel" I replied

" oh that? I only spoke a little about you"

"a little?" I ask

" ok, a lot but its for your own good. You need to socialize more" she confesses

" yeah, I need to socialize more with normal students not stinky, rich, bad boy Greek gods " I reply

" there's nothing really wrong with them, I don't see anything wrong with being rich, handsome, and good with girls"

" just , forget about it there's no use discussing this with you I'm just glad that you are back" I reply then hug her back.

" I'm glad to be back too, now do you want to hear about the boys I met during my trip?"

she asks.

" of course"

Later in the day we were having our lunch in the cafeteria as usual.

"Allycake, look Adriel is walking up to us" Angie said. I turned back and saw him, Israel and Carter approaching me.

" shit what do I avoid, I've been trying to avoid him all day"

" just play cool". she replies.

" yo, Mayers how are you?" Israel said from behind.

"leave her alone" Adriel said. " hey" he said to me.

"bye" I replied picking up my bag . I was about to walk away.

"Ally wait I just want to talk" Adriel said.

I knew Adriel didn't mean bad but I was not in any way ready for any kind of attention or distraction especially now, in my final year of high school.

I just kept on walking forward.

I suddenly felt my head get lighter.

I turned back and saw Adriel holding my head warmer. I suddenly felt uncontrollably angry and irritated .

"I'm sorry I was just try to hold you ba.."

It may have been because of the adrenaline or the thousands of eyes looking at me but I didn't even know when I slapped him, collected my head warmer and walked away with hot tears rolling down my eyes.
