Candlelight Killer

      A huge storm was coming to the town of Watterson. The Reed family had 2 kids, Eric and Allison. They lived with their parents, Frank and Sandy and their grandparents. The house they lived in was big with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There was a tornado warning issued so they had to head downstairs. "Come on let's go! Everybody get downstairs now!" Frank yelled as he motioned for them to follow him. The storm lasted for hours with high winds. "Power might go out" Sandy said. "We'll see" said Eric. "We have candles in the back room down here if we need them" said Frank. Just as he said that the lights and tv shut off.

      "I'll go get the candles and we can light some down here and some upstairs in the bedrooms and kitchen" said Frank. Frank lit the candles and put them up in the bedrooms, kitchen, and basement. "It is safe to go upstairs now" he said. The kids headed up to their rooms. The adults stayed in the kitchen and family room. After a few hours of no power they heard a scream. They didn't want to investigate but they heard another an hour later. Then there was a knock at the door. A man was knocking loudly. Frank opened the door and the man told him of a suspicious person. He was terrorizing families who were stuck inside. "If one of your candles goes out you best run away fast" he warned. "He's gonna getcha if you don't" he said then turned to walk away.

       Frank was scared by this and warned the family. They didn't believe him but he was serious. They had a big candle on the kitchen table and small ones in the rooms. "Keep your eyes on your candles and if they go out let me know." He said then walked back downstairs. Eric was sitting in his room reading a book with a flashlight. Sara was taking a nap in her room. He looked over at her room and noticed something was wrong. There was no candle lit. Just as he was about to get up and run to her, something hit him. His door slammed shut and he started pounding on it. He then heard his sister scream. He quickly opened the door and ran to her room. He turned on his flashlight and she was dead. She had been stabbed and her throat slit. Then the whole house went dark. Every candle went out. Frank was yelling to everyone to stay put. Then as he yelled someone grabbed him from behind. They pulled him into the basement and tied him up. Then kicked him and hit him with an ax. The "Candlelight" Killer struck again. He took down the entire family one by one. He savagely beat them. Some he drowned in buckets of water. Then he blew out his last candle. He disappeared into the cloud of smoke.
