Making Him "Mine"

Hermione POV

"Don't tell me attracted ka kay kuya Red?" nanlalaking mata na sabi ni Deity sa akin.

"Well you can say that plus the fact his name is Red. You know how much Red suits for me." I said still picturing him on my mind. God! He's so perfect. I know his friends are all good looking but I only see him. For me he's the one who stands out.

"Gosh, you're kidding right?" Deity ask me still not believing what I've said.

Umiling ako sa kaniya, gosh! I'm f*cking serious when I said I like him.

"Is he a bachelor? Single ba siya o taken na?" hindi ko napigilang tanong kay Deity.

"Gosh! You're serious about it!" she blurted out.

"Of course I'm serious, so is he taken already or single and ready to mingle?" I answered.

Naiiling na sumagot si Deity sa akin.

"I think he's single" she answered and a mischievous smile form on my lips.

"But Hermione he's a player. He change girlfriends like how he change his clothes. Sa group of friends nila Kuya, I think he's the worst. He don't do serious relationship. He don't do commitments but it always been a no strings attached." Deity explained and I just smiled. Wow! So Red has a bad reputation.

"Hmm. Okay, He's a challenge then" I simply answered.

"WHA-T?" I laughed to Deity's reaction.

"He loves playing,  well why don't I join
his game and maybe I win. I'm a good player too Deity."

"Nabagok ba ang ulo mo kanina?" Tanong ni Deity na nagpakunot ng noo ko.

"Huh? Hindi naman" sagot ko sa kaniya.

"Alam mo, gutom lang siguro yan, tara kain tayo. Kung ano-ano naiisip mong babae ka!"

"Seryoso nga ako, akala ko ba susuportahan mo ako sa lahat ng gusto ko."

"Yeah I said that frenny pero si Kuya Red talaga? Talagang tinamaan ka ba doon or ang dahilan mo lang ay dahil Red ang pangalan niya. Maybe you just misinterpret it since you have the obsession to color red"

"Nah! I can feel that he's perfect for me. And damn I never felt like this before Deity. I'm serious, a hundred percent. My heart throbbed when I saw his face. Something within me felt so magical and special and the excitement to see him again is killing me. I thing he got me at first sight." I explained at parang tanga ata akong nakangiti habang sinasabi yun.

"Gosh! You're losing your mind Hermione" She muttered

I chuckled. "Maybe because of him"

Lalo akong natawa nang mapahawak si Deity sa sintido niya. Mukhang stress ata sa sinabi ko hehe.

I'm just saying the truth. Red truly get my attention. Cupid strikes his arrow and my heart is the target. He hit it perfectly. I'm not much a believer of love or destiny but damn it finally happen to me and all I can say that being in love is such a wonderful feeling.

"Will you support me to have a love life Deity?" I asked my bestfriend who still can't believe on what she heard from me.

"Guess, I already regret saying that I support you" she answered and we both laugh which filled our hotel room.

"Which outfit do you prefer that can catch his attention? Please introduce me formally to him." excited na sabi ko kay Deity. We're preparing ourselves for the music fest later. Should I wear a classy revealing dress or classy casual one? Gosh! Before, I am too confident on what to wear but now I'm too conscious on what to wear which can attract his attention.
