[just to clarify I didn't tell you guys Patrick would never encounter Elisa, right? 🔥😈😉👼]
[Patrick's POV]
Here I am, sitting alone in a local establishment, my wings are still covered in dust and blood. My anger is growing. My frustration has hit it's peak. I have officially lost it.
That letter sits in front of me without the pendant, I wear the pendant now but it had something off about it, something I wasn't told.
I lost control twice. I swear I felt possessed. And it wasn't the pendant, sure. Because it seemed to glow when I wasn't under the influence, of anything.
I sat there, head on the table. Two shot glasses, emptied sat in front of me. I have no one, my bandmates are probably gone for good because I'm such a coward, and I'm hiding in a bar because I can't figure out the damn letter.
Suddenly, she slunk in beside me. "Hey," she said. I glared at her. She had the dark hair if a demon, but her eyes were a warm honey brown. She was clad in a black jacket, and her dark hair was delicately curly. She was pretty. She wore a red shirt, and black pants and boots.
"What the heck are you?" I glared at her. "Don't you see I'm a failure! I haven't figured out to have these things stopped and to be able to get away from this confusing world. I wish the supernatural weren't out in the public!"
"Trust me, I know how you feel." She smirked, shrugging off her jacket, she had reddish gold wings.... like the sketch on the letter.... was my dad trying to tell me this girl would help me? Or was it even my dad sending the letter? No that's stupid it just be my dad.
"Go away." I said, "I'm serious. If you piss me off enough I'll kill you and I can't control it." But somehow, she seemed to cancel out the anger that came from being half vampire. How the heck did two different people love each other.
"I'm a angel too." She said sympathetically. "I'm also a Eclipse. My dad was a demon, a incubus type." She shook her head. "Most people in the underground call me Sister Sin, but my actual name is Elisa." She held out a hand. "I usually find other Eclipses and protect them."
Ad lo and behold, speaking of protectors, I saw him enter the establishment, literally March right over to me. Samuel was like that; her been protecting me now officially. Apparently me flying so soon impressed him.
"Patrick, do not I repeat get involved with another Eclipse. There are about twenty in the world and there are no others like you." Samuel grabbed my arm, his dark eyes glaring at me.
"Come on she said she'd protect me!" I complained, and I saw Elisa follow us outside. I looked at Samuel with a cold glare.
"Patrick, listen to me. I suggest you don't hide out in bars like this. As far as I know, the government is ignoring your existence as a supernatural being. So I suggest you come with me now." Samuel grabbed my arm, which hurt. I tugged my arm away. Why was he getting so physical with protecting me.
"Samuel, stop. Just because you're his protector." Elisa put up a hand and Samuel looked at her.
Suddenly I saw it, a demon slinking along the shadows. The demon smirked, materializing into a gray haired man. His dark hair was smattered with grey. He approached me. "You eclipse scum... Stop hanging around my daughter!" The demon approached me and grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him. All of my body screamed with firey pain. Yep, he's a pure demon.
"Stop it Zephyr." Samuel looked at me then Zephyr, who was currently forcing me to look at him. Being 5"4, most demons are intimidating to a little dude like me. A lot of the pure ones are super tall, and can kill you with one look. Literally.
