Nina had been choosen as Elena Gilbert. The others were still getting choosen She had so many reads that she had to do. They had to nail her down for before choosing the two leading guys. She was sitting against the wall re-reading her lines again she didn't want to mess up. Julie walked over to her with two girls."Nina we've casted Kat Graham for Bonnie Bennett and this is Kayla Ewell who will be playing Vikki Donavan."

Nina stood up to shake hands with them she could see that they were all going to be great friends."Nina Dobrev. Nice to meet y'all."

Julie hoped that her cast got along well a good cast made for a good show."So we got a few more guys for you to practice with. Were pretty sure that we got Jeremy Tyler and Matt down. We just really need Stefan and Damon Salvatore."

"Ok i'm just rereading the lines trying to make sure that i don't mess up." Nina knew that how important it was for them to find the perfect matches.

A blond walked into set. Julie waved her over."This is Candice Acolla she is going to be playing Caroline Forbes."

"Nice to meet you i'm Nina."

"Well i'll let you girls be we have some approval calls." Julie walked away leaving the girls alone.

"So you got Elena Gilbert the shows lead cool." Candice was happy that she scored a role and also happy that she'd be doing it at least six years.

"They said that i fit her good. I totally choked at the audition for the board." She was happy that they even looked at her again after that it is not easy choking and still making the audition."So Julie had me make a tape and send it in. I did and i got approved to be Elena Gilbert."

"So are you reading with members for Stefan and Damon." Kayla asked she knew that Julie had said if Nina had good chemistry with them and if they were a good match then they would cast them.

Nina nodded."Yeah i am. I've seen people that have read for both or just 1 more are still coming we have about three weeks to get everyone else for main before they get the rest of the cast."

"Were all slowly coming togther. 6- year contract?" Kat knew that they were going to be friends especially the ones that had the six year contract.

Nina nodded she had never did anything that long but she was ready for it."I don't think i've ever done something this long."

"How about we go out tonight." Kayla suggested they just met and it would be great for all of them.

"Get to know each other." Candice agreed she liked the idea and it would be good for them.

"Sounds fun," Kat  approved she wanted friends if they were going to be here so long.

"Ok" Nina nodded she liked the idea of making friends that would probably last longer then the show."I just have to invite my little sister."

"Nina we need you to read."

"Here i come. Well i'll see you girls later. Another read." Nina waved bye and walked away. She headed back into the room and she seen a few more guys. She just smiled knowing this was going to be a good day.

When she was leaving she seen a guy waiting by the door."Your one of the guys i read with earlier Nathaniel right."

He nodded truth be told he much rather be called by the shorter version of his name."I'd prefer Nate but yeah."

"Nina. Nina Dobrev. I'm playing Elena Gilbert. I don't know how i managed to get the lead."
