Elsa was always an extraordinary child. She held a very extreme imagination, one that was much more complex than those of other children her age. This did cause some worry in the hearts of Elsa's parents, as she then began to say she possessed the magic of ice and snow, controlling it at her will. Obviously this was impossible, and her parents became specifically concerned when Elsa's play pretend games lead to her little sister Anna suffering a head injury. Because of this her parents kept her locked away in a room, hoping that the rest of the kingdom would not find out about their daughter's mental illness.
However, due to a tragic boat wreck, Elsa and Anna's parent died, and left Elsa as the reining heir to the empire. Elsa was unable to fulfill such duties because of her mental state, leaving Anna to complete those tasks for her as she ruled the land from the backseat of its mentally insane driver. Many years of this went by without second thought, but as the idea of a incompetent leader resided in the minds of the kingdom's high officials longer, so did the desire for a revision in leadership. Slowly did they push their notion of corruption and exploitation, but when Anna eventually caught on it was too late. The high officials had convinced the public for a change, and with the help of outside nations (Also looking to possibly grab hold of a piece of the province) had surged the proposition to the executive level. They offered Anna the choice of sending her sister to jail on mental terms, and ultimately giving the throne solely to Anna. They knew however she would deny this because of her undying love for her older sister. After she refused this option the officials used her rejection as a claim to enrage the public, and causing an almost complete revolt against the country's two leaders.
Less than a week after they passed the execution orders for both Elsa and Anna, and later that month both of the girls were burnt at the stake on the allegations of witch craft, sorcery, and treason. Leaving the land in the hands of its ferocious and rapacious higher powers.
