CHAPTER 3: Red Tigers

"Hey, okay ka lang?" He looked at me a bit amused.

"Duke! I-I'm okay." F!?G$SJ@4VCS....My brain just short-circuited.

He moved past me and went up the bulletin board. Chaos descended upod the humans around us. Sounds of shrieking and voices of his fans echoed, but all I can hear is my own heartbeat.

"Hi Sebby." I was woken out of my stupefaction by a tall figure who suddenly appeard before me.

"H-hi!" I found Levi standing in front of me while smiling. Kai and Sky were behind him. They both said hi as well.

The three of them looked for their teams.
Now there's a huge space isolating us-I mean them- as the crowd made way for Duke's group. I was feeling out of place so I moved aside to where Naddy was.

"Seb! Am I dreaming?" Naddy whispered as she gripped my arm. Damn girl bodybuilder kaba? Ouch!
"Oo, wag ka na magising." I answered irritatedly and rolled my eyes at her.

"Turns out we're in the same team." Duke approached and said.

"Huh?"

"Magka-team pala tayo sabi 'ko, you're in Red Tigers diba?" He repeated and asked.

I just nodded my head dumbfoundedly.
"Nice! Don't worry, I'll take care of you since I still owe you from before. You're a transferee diba?" He said and asked.

"H-how do you know that I'm a transferee?" I asked confused.

"I asked around about you that day. That's how I knew." He said as a matter of fact.

"Oh...you don't really have to think about it anymore. You don't owe me anything." I insisted.

"No, it's okay I don't wanna feel guilty. Besides, we have a tradition for freshies and trasferees, more like an initiation so I'll take care of you." He said and winked.

"Uhm about your jacket, uh-uhm nasa laundry pa eh. I forgot to get it, I-I'll bring it tomorrow." I suddenly remembered about his jacket and told him.

"No rush It's OK. It's yours if you want to." He replied.

"No, no I'll bring it back tomorrow." I said sternly.

"Uh, I'm a transferee too." Naddy blurted out of the blue beside me. Shhhh! Ghaaad kakahiya!

Duke laughed. "You're Seb's friend right? Ano nga ulit pangalan mo?"

"I'm Shannen Nadine Kim, you can call me your wife- I mean Naddy for short." Naddy said shamelessly. Damn I wish I had self-confidence like that.

I stared at Naddy in disbelief, Duke and his gang laughed seemingly amused by her words.

"Don't worry, we'll take care of you." Said Kai.

"How can you take care of her? You're not even in the same team." Sky retorted.

"Oh yeah right hehe." Kai said a bit embarassed.

"What team are you guys in?" Duke asked.

" Levi and I are in 'Golden Dragons' while Kai is with himself in 'Silver Falcons'." Sky said while sneering at Kai for his misfortune of being alone.
