7th Year - HP Marauders Fanfiction

Chapter One

Remus' POV

7th year [ 24th December 1977, present day]

I'm sat at the Gryffindor table in the great hall listening to James, Sirius, Lily and Peter talk about what happened in their previous class, as I stare at my boyfriend, Sirius, as I eat my enormous chocolate bar, as the others are still blabbering on, as Peter tries to take some of my chocolate "hands off! Get your own!" I tell him nastily, resuming staring at the love of my life, Sirius Orion Black. "okay, sorry" peter replies apologetically, as he remembers that tomorrow night is the time of the month I sneak out to the shrieking shack, to transform into a werewolf. I go to have a sip of my pumpkin juice, as I pick up the cup containing the pumpkin juice, Snape purposely bumps into me "Monster" he says to me with spite and anger in his voice, I get up and push him out of my way and run out of the great hall clutching my chocolate bar, "Back off Snivellus!" I hear Sirius shout at him in anger as I left the great hall.

I heard footsteps running shortly behind me. I didn't look behind me, I just ran straight into the Gryffindor common room and made my way into my dormitory, plummeting into my bed, eating my chocolate, I was upset and angry. I put my chocolate down and buried my head into my pillow, to soak up my tears. There was a knock on the dormitory door "go away" I said tearfully. "Moony, are you okay?" A familiar voice spoke thoughtfully. It was Sirius. "I'm fine, Padfoot" I replied. "No, you're not, Moony! he spoke again "I'm coming in" before I could argue he opened the door and walked in. "speak to me Moony!" he insisted. I sat up looking at him with my teary eyes. I wipe my eyes and take a deep breath. "what he said made me upset and angry, and the thing that makes it worse is that I used to believe I was a a monster, and I still do sometimes!" I told him as I started tearing up again. "you're not a monster, moony! You can't control it!" Sirius told me as he pulled me into a hug. I dug my head in his shoulder and hugged him back.

Flash Back [6th Year, 14th February {Valentine's Day} 1977]

I'm sat next to Sirius in the Gryffindor Common room, he didn't feel well so he decided he was going to sit out of the quidditch match, I was studying, as per usual, "Are you actually going to acknowledge I'm here Moony?" Sirius said slightly annoyed and a slight bit amused. "Sorry, Pads" I replied as I closed my book. "Can you guess how many girls sent me valentine's cards this year?" Sirius asked me with a tiny smirk and being generally Serious. "I don't know, loads?" I replied with a slight bit hostility and jealousy in my voice as reopened my book and carried on reading. "Sorry Moony, I didn't mean to upset you." Sirius said apologetically. "Is everything okay, mate?" Sirius asked with a concerned tone in his voice. "Yeah, Everything is just fine!" I told him trying to hide that everything wasn't okay, but he could see straight through my lies. "No, it's not moons, talk to me!" He told me as he put one of his hands on my shoulder and he lifted his other hand to my face to turn my face to look at him. "Please, Moony!" He asked me with a demanding tone as he looked into my eyes, I quickly looked away from him and got up and went to my dormitory and sat on my bed and continued to read.

Shortly later, Sirius walked in to the dormitory and sat opposite me "what's wrong, moony?" He asked me again, I ignored the question, looked up at him and told him "There is a note or something on your bed" as he got up to see what it was I looked back at my book and continued to read. "It's...a card.." he said. "What does it say?" I asked, already knowing what it said. He read it aloud "'I fell in love with the stars when I first saw them in your eyes, you are the most wonderful person I've ever met, will you be my valentine?' It's not signed..." He said. I turned to him and asked him "They have to be a Griffindor, right? They couldn't have gotten in here otherwise." "Yeah, but girls aren't allowed in the boys dormitories..." He added. "who do think it's from?" I asked him curiously. "I have my suspicions..." He told me as he winked at me, I turned away as I felt my face redden. "And who exactly are your suspicions?" I asked him with smirk tinier than the one Sirius gave me earlier, and slight clueless tone in my voice. "I think you know who" He told me as he winked at me again, reddening in his cheeks and giving me a slightly bigger smirk than before. "No, I don't." I said as I reddened in the cheeks. "You." Sirius told me as he sat next me. He lifted his hand to my face turning my head to face him as he leaned in to kiss me, he held my face with his hands as his lips touch mine, after a few seconds he pulled away, the kiss only lasted a few seconds, but they were the best few seconds of my life.

[Present day]

I pulled away from Sirius, "how did you know?" I asked him, "how did I know what?" He responded, "that day, with the card, how did you know it was from me?" I asked again, "I didn't to be honest, it just smelt a lot like chocolate, so I took a chance and guess it was you, nobody else likes or smells like chocolate then you... And maybe Wormtail and times.._ he replied to me chuckling at the end. "Yeah, okay, but how did you know that it wasn't Wormtail and not me?" I asked curiously, "Wormtail can't do poetry, and have you seen how much he and my little brother stare at each other, you would think that there was something going on between them." He responded with a slightly sarcastic tone towards the end of the sentence, "how would you react if there was something going on between Wormtail and your little brother?" I asked with a slight jokey tone in my voice. "It would be weird, one of my BEST FRIENDS and my LITTLE BROTHER..." he replied, obviously not picking up on the jokey tone in my voice before. "Have you noticed that Wormtail had been sneaking out after cerfew lately?" I asked him, "Your up that late?" He responded. "Of course, I do study a lot, and I'm not the only one who has noticed, Lily told me that she has been in the common room studying, and Wormtail has snuck out asking he not to tell anyone, Lily said that she thinks he was meeting up with a secret lover,but I'm not sure what to think." I told him "I hope it's not be my little brother." He chuckled, "It's most likely isn't, Wormtail would never date your brother behind your back, or at least without your blessing, because he bloody well wouldn't have your parents blessing to be completely honest." I said reassuringly, "your right, he would at least tell me." Sirius replied to me feeling reassured.
